MY VERDICT: It’s rare that I really like what Kelly wears on the red carpet, but I instantly fell in love with the fact that she wore one of my favorite Jenny Packham gowns!  The E! correspondent selected this black silk gown from the designer’s Fall 2012 collection, which features a cool rock ‘n roll effect with various sizes of shiny black pyramid studs all over a mesh overlay at the bodice.  The solid color allowed for Kelly’s purple rolled up-do to stand out without clashing, and I adore her complimenting Marchesa embellished clutch.  Taking back to the hair for a moment, I’m all about ‘daring to be different’ but am I the only one totally bored with her hair color?  It only really matters if Kelly loves it—and yet I still can’t wait for her to switch it up.

MY VERDICT: Kelly was one of the first to arrive on the Golden Globe red carpet as she had hosting duties for E! Fashion Police.  The 28-year-old turned to Zac Posen once again for her award ceremony look by selecting the pale mint strapless corset gown from his Resort 2013 collection, which featured a structured fishtail skirt. Although this fails to top the lilac number she donned for the Primetime Emmys last year, I happen to really like this dress on Kelly.  She often wears white to balance out with her bright purple hair, and I’ve grown tired of that, so it was good to see her change it up—even if the step was small.

She finished off with emerald jewelry, a light blue clutch, and a side-gathered glamour curls.

For the stars who made occasional unlawful style choices—or were simply staight up repeat offenders. 

1. Ke$ha

Oh, don’t tell me you’re surprised by this. I like a few of Ke$ha’s songs, and I can appreciate that as a dance artist she likes to take it over the top—but, some things should never be worn together. Over the last twelve months, the “Die Young” singer has worn some absolutely ridiculous get ups. I liked her galaxy blazer she wore during a concert in December and her side braided hair looked cool, and then….everything else happened.

Wow, I was pretty blown away by Kelly Osbourne on the red carpet last night for the 64th annual Primetime Emmy Awards. She looked better than some of the nominated ladies and, for the very first time, I actually appreciated her purple hair.

The Fashion Court caught you up with some of the hottest dresses from your favorite stars on the blue carpet for the 2012 Do Something Awards, hosted by DoSomething.Org and VH1 in Hollywood. But, there were a few other note-worthy looks that I didn’t want to go unnoticed.

Let’s break them down here, shall we?

Ellie Kemper looked so cute when she arrived for the awards ceremony in this printed a-line party dress. The “21 Jump Street” actress selected a gold metallic cocktail dress  by Rafael Cennamo, from the Fall/Winter 2012 collection, which featured navy blue detailing, especially at the banded waist. Ellie wore her red hair in loosely sculpted waves before finishing off her look with a red pout and sassy navy strappy sandals.

Bella Thorne‘s hair just keeps getting lighter and lighter! I’ve always been a fan of the rich red hair on  the “Shake It Up” starlet, but this pale shade is a bit lackluster against her fair complexion. It doesn’t help that her nude lace BCBGMAXAZRIA dress does nothing to add some lively color to her overall ensemble. She’s only fourteen though, so Bella totally gets away with playing with her party frock by updating it with a jewel-embellished belt and spike-embellished python printed ankle booties. | continue reading..

Kelly Osbourne hit the red carpet at the Hollywood and Highland Center last night for the 84th Annual Academy Awards in a drop dead gorgeous gown.

Words can not describe how much I loved this emerald paillette embellished black gown, from the Fall/Winter 2012 collection by Badgley Mischka with sheer insets at the neckline and flutter sleeves.

I’m so excited that it got some Oscars spotlight — and Kelly really pulled it off. This is officially my most favorite gown that she has worn all awards season long! | continue reading..

It was all about pink power on Wednesday night as Kelly Osbourne celebrated the MAC Cosmetics “Viva Glam” party held at Stage 37 in New York City during New York Fashion Week.

The Viva Glam campaign, which stars Nicki Minaj and Ricky Martin, benefits the fight against HIV/AIDS.

Kelly rocked a hot pair of pink and lavender “Cregger” cut-out pumps by Aldo x Mark Fast with a super cool cap-sleeve “Isis” laminated dress with architectural seams and sheer back from Kymerah. This was a great fit on Kelly — I prefer it on her to the model as it needed a curvy shape. | continue reading..
