MY VERDICT: I’d hate to state the obvious, but it looks like Kelly Rowland wore a gown made out of a disco ball at the Billboard Music Awards—and I kinda like it. The “Dirty Laundry” singer arrived at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas in a V-neck Rami Al Ali Couture silver geometric pailette embellished gown, from the designer’s Spring 2013 collection.

The raised effect of the embroidery definitely fits that groovy comparison, wouldn’t you say so?

It’s obvious that Kelly was going for a full form-fitting look–I get that, but I also can’t deny that I prefer the draped open sleeves on the model. I don’t like how it fits much tighter on her in the area beneath the arm as it’s one of the details that makes the dress so beautiful in the first place. Kelly wore her long hair up leaving a few stray pieces, before completing her look with a pink matte lip, frosted diamond jewels, and a matching pair of metallic strappy sandals.

Kelly Rowland sparkled in a printed dress last night when she attended the 2012 American Music Awards where she was a presenter during the 40th anniversary.

The 31-year-old singer was a member of the R&B pop group Destiny’s Child alongside Beyoncé when she first appeared at the music ceremony so many years ago, but Kelly has since embarked on a solo career.  She arrived at the Nokia Theatre L.A. Kelly Rowland looked better than ever last night when she attended the annual Glamour Women of the Year Awards held in London, England and hosted by the British edition of Glamour Magazine.

The 31-year-old singer flaunted her toned shoulders in a satin black, halterneck gown by designer Maria Grachvogel with a large floral print on that back that flowed down into the extra-long train.

What a gorgeous dress on a beautiful gal, right?

Kelly flawlessly finished off her look with silver, angel wing hoop earrings, glamorous smokey eyes, super straight tresses and a bronze glossy pout.

Kelly Rowland may have gone for an ethereal look on Sunday night for the 54th Annual GRAMMY Awards, but the night before it was all about the glitz and glamour when she attended the Clive Davis’ annual Pre-Grammy fête that honored Richard Branson, chairman of Virgin Group, in a dazzling long-sleeved couture gown by Badgley Mischka.
