For her first fashion show appearance of the new year, KRISTEN STEWART stepped out for the Chanel Spring/Summer 2015 Haute Couture show during Paris Fashion Week. The 24-year-old "Still Alice" actress donned a sporty black piped white dress with platform oxford booties, and a star earring clip that was showcased thanks to her wavy side-pinned hairstyle. Kristen teamed back up with her international hairstylist KEN O'ROURKE for the day and, as always, Ken graciously shared tips on achieving the look with The Fashion Court.
Kristen Stewart surprised on-lookers with her brand new cropped hairstyle at Paris Haute Couture Fashion Week. The 24-year-old debuted her fiery layered shag at the Chanel fashion show to celebrate Karl Lagerfeld's Fall/Winter 2014 couture collection...and get this--it was only 2 hours old! That's right, Kristen's hairstylist Ken O'Rourke had the honor of giving her the brand new look and they cut it in her hotel bathroom right before Kristen got ready for the event. Ken shared that he didn't use any product and no hairdryer--he simply let it air-dry. Yup, that's right. Kristen's hair just naturally looks that good. #HairEnvy? Most definitely. He took it a step further by letting us know that it will most likely look even better the next day after she's slept on it. Of course, because no one rocks bed-head better than K-Stew! Not only couldn't we take our eyes off her fresh new 'do, but Kristen was also sporting some gorgeous shimmering rose eyeshadow that was instantly a summer must-have! Emma Kotch, who has worked with Kristen many times in the past during European press events, helped the start get ready using mostly products from the CHANEL beauty line.
Kristen Stewart doubled up on the runway shows when she attended both Chanel and Zuhair Murad's presentations during Paris Haute Couture Fashion Week celebrating the Fall/Winter 2013-14 collections earlier this month. The 23-year-old actress sat front row wearing two bold outfits, but her feisty fashion moments didn't stop at the clothes. Celebrity hairstylist Ken O'Rourke hooked Kristen up with a double dose of fierce 'dos that will no doubt spark a hairstyle trend this fall---a sparkling bow-adorned pony at Chanel followed by the pretty-in-punk braided loose waves she sported for second show. Ken dished the scoop on how to recreate both looks, and they're surprisingly easier than you'd think!
Since #ThrowbackThursday seems to be a big trend on social media, I figured I would try to incorporate it a little bit into the site by applying it to past beauty looks we'd all love to recreate. To kick it off, I turned to celebrity hairstylist Ken O'Rourke who worked with Kristen Stewart throughout the international press tour for "The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 2" late last year. The 23-year-old actress rocked some seriously fabulous 'dos during her back-to-back red carpet appearances that Ken shared some details on that I've complied into a little hair diary.
For the World Premiere of Universal's "Snow White and the Huntsman" held in London, Empire Leicester Square was transformed into a fairytale carpet that was separated into the Dark Forrest and the Enchanted Forrest to stay in theme with the film. Kristen Stewart joined her costars Charlize Theron, Chris Hemsworth and Sam Claflin at the big event looking like a mystical creature herself. The beautiful 22-year-old actress arrived to the premiere wearing a ornate black lace Marchesa gown that was embroidered with metallic beaded embellishments that were designed to look like skeleton bones! Hairstylist Ken O'Rourke helped Kristen get ready for her close-up by taking inspiration from her dress! "I wanted to give her hair a modern gothic feeling," he told The Fashion Court. The morning of the premiere, Ken and Kristen came up with the idea to weave a chain throughout her twisted, undone 'do. Luckily, he had the perfect piece in his kit! Including accessories in the hair has become a popular red carpet staple lately. Dakota Fanning, Jennifer Lawrence, and Kirsten Dunst are just some of the starlets adding sparkle to their tresses.
