WHERE & WHEN: The NBC Upfront 2014 Presentation on May 12, 2014.
WEARING: Temperley London dress, Lauren Merkin clutch
MY VERDICT: Krysten followed up her funky airbrushed animal-print dress from the Independent Spirit Awards last weekend with an equally fabulous number when she attended the SXSW 2014 premiere of “Veronica Mars”. The 32-year-old actress posed for photographers wearing an elaborately decorated Emilio Pucci long sleeve graffiti dress, which comes from the Spring/Summer 2014 runway collection designed by Peter Dundas.
I absolutely love all of the exciting details that went into the beaded pattern of this dress. The colors are vibrant and the tribal chevron multi border trim gives it extra dimension. It was a great little artistic look to rock in Austin for the annual festival.
Long full waves, a strawberry lipcolor, a Jimmy Choo metallic trim tube clutch, and strappy black leather Brian Atwood “Tamara” sandals provided Krysten’s finishing touches.
Fun Fashion Fact: More than just having their first name and profession in common, Kristen Stewart also rocks this dress for the March 2014 issue of Marie Claire Magazine!
MY VERDICT: Fab! After rocking one of the cutest dresses for summer the previous evening, Krysten was back on the red carpet over the weekend to celebrate the Los Angeles Film Festival premiere of “The Way, Way Back” in some fancy Dior.
The 31-year-old actress donned an embroidered grey wool “Bar Jacket” dress worn with a grey wool pleated skirt. This Spring 2013 design had a striking fit-and-flare shape that seemed to be presented on Krysten even better than it was on the catwalk. | continue reading..
MY VERDICT: Krysten kicked off the first weekend of summer in style when she rocked the red carpet at the Disneyland premiere of “The Lone Ranger” in her adorably chic Thakoon hummingbird printed dress. The 31-year-old actress slipped into the white sleeveless Spring 2013 design with a bright yellow flounce detail at the waist, black leaf pattern and colorful birds throughout. | continue reading..
20. Joseph Gordon-Levitt
There was no slow start to a year of style for Joseph, who kicked his red carpet moments off with a dapper look at the Golden Globe Awards in January. I really liked the satin trim of his tuxedo, but it was obviously the printed bow tie that stole the show. Throughout the next twelve months, JGL continued to thrive with his choices that were filled with character; from pinstripes to a totally fashion-forward chocolate velvet tartan Alexander McQueen suit for a talk show appearance. I particularly liked the way he partnered a three piece navy suit with a coordinating plaid shirt. Seriously, how could he not make this list?
Selecting a dress from the Fall/Winter 2012 runway collection, Krysten wore a long sleeve bandage dress with cutout detail at the neck, shimmering detail and a flared skirt. | continue reading..
Although Krysten is sitting and we don’t get that great of a view, I can definitely tell that she left the involvement of the red leather corset belt, which makes me pretty happy. I’ve noticed that a lot of ladies who wear looks from this collection pass on the belt, and I haven’t been able to figure out why. | continue reading..
“Don’t Trust the B—- in Apt 23” star Krysten Ritter hit the black carpet last week wearing a Dolce & Gabbana two-tone combo, which included a gold and ruby embellished ivory floral lace long-sleeve blouse with bell shaped cuffs and a matching black lace mini skirt with exposed briefs. This could have gone really badly as it’s risky to show off undergarments–whether it’s a part of the design or not, but I think Krysten did well. If it was lined, it might have been too boring.
She left her hair out in natural waves with just a little bit of make-up before topping off her look with black pumps and a red shimmering Judith Leiber clutch that matched the embroidered detail in her top. If she had donned some sexy sandals or too much make-up, that would have taken the look to a not-so-cute level. It would’ve been just that easy.
What did you think of Krysten’s two-tone lacy number?
Two of my absolute favorite looks of all included dresses by Reem Acra.
For an interview at VH1 earlier in the week, Krysten was spotted arriving at the studio wearing a gorgeous black collared dress from the Pre-Fall 2012 collection, which featured shimmering polka-dot printed sheer sleeves and insets at the pleated skirt. | continue reading..
