Camilla Belle was gorgeous last night when she arrived at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art for the LACMA Art + Film Gala which honored Clint Eastwood and John Baldessari.

Camilla wore a stunning art deco metallic gold, black and white dress from the Spring/Summer 2012 collection by Gucci.

Not only do I love all of the different shapes and how they intertwine, I adore the gold fringed details and how the dress forms to Camilla’s figure. This was definitely her dress out of the collection.

She expertly accessorized with a black leather box clutch, a gold index ring, and gold ankle strap sandals. | continue reading..

Is it just me, or does Evan Rachel Wood look like she stepped right out of the “Chicago” musical and onto the carpet tonight at the LACMA Art + Film Gala event?

Evan was totally flapper-glam in this sleeveless fringed gold and black dress from the Spring/Summer 2012 collection by Gucci.

I can appreciate that she played up with a 1920′s style, but part of this feel too costume-y. Even still, I think she pretty much rocked this one. Evan has the flair and confidence to even make an awkward look workable.

Just like with Zoe Saldana – I’m in love with these chain t-strap sandals from the collection. | continue reading..

Reese Witherspoon was in attendance tonight at the star-studded LACMA Art + Film Gala event held at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art, which honored Clint Eastwood and John Baldessari.

Reese wore a very daring, very cool black one-shoulder cocktail dress from the Spring/Summer 2012 collection by Cushnie et Ochs. There was a similar printed white style featured in the Resort 2012 collection, but it was re-created in black for spring — unfortunately it didn’t make the catwalk.

I really dig this dress on Reese, it’s not something I’m use to seeing on her. As for everything else? Whoa. No. | continue reading..

Emily Blunt in Jenny Packham | LACMA Art + Film Gala presented by Gucci

Emily Blunt joined her husband John Krasinski (not pictured) tonight at the LACMA Art + Film Gala honoring Clint Eastwood and John Baldessari in LA and opted for an “all black everything” look.

Oh my Jay-Z, I love this.

There’s something so low-matienance but glamorous about it. As if she just brushed her hair, put on a little make-up, slipped on a fabulous dress and was red carpet ready.

I normally don’t like gowns that look like half a dress under a sheer floor-length one, but I really love this sequined Jenny Packham one a lot. It’s glam, edgy, and looks comfortable.

If Emily had worn attention calling earrings, curled her hair, or wore the wrong shoes…this could’ve been trashy. But it wasn’t, and it helped that the draping at the neck on her was barely drawn.

Emily wore a blackened gold and brown diamond ring by Sutra.

From runway to red carpet – this was executed really well.

Kate Beckinsale in Gucci | LACMA Art + Film Gala presented by Gucci

I feel like I’m always seeing Kate Beckinsale in a white or black dress; tonight was no different when she attended the LACMA Art + Film Gala honoring Clint Eastwood and John Baldessari in LA.

With that said… she looked so beautiful.

While Olivia Wilde’s floral applquie’s at the waist were too distracting, Kate’s were workable. I think it had something to do with the fact that they were too different colors and on a completely different dress silhouette.

Her Gucci strapless column gown was also non-typical, I liked the pulling at the bodice and the added gold and black colors. She complimented the look as well with a gold clutch and matching black and gold deco earrings.

In some photos the pulling of her hair looks awkward, but it looks really good here so we’ll just go with that.

I’m hoping to see her in more color next time though. Fingers crossed.

Kate Bosworth in Erdem | LACMA Art + Film Gala presented by Gucci

When I first saw this yellow lace dress from the Spring/Summer 2012 collection by Erdem, I sort of fell in love with it — which is why it kind of pains me to write this post.

I really want to like Kate Bosworth in this off-the-shoulder look at the LACMA Art + Film Gala honoring Clint Eastwood and John Baldessari in Los Angeles…but, I just can’t.

There’s something very 8th grade spring dance about it.

Not even in recent times…like…circa 1995.

Add in the satin nude accessories and I’m just miserable looking at this.

What went wrong Kate?

I know if she had left her hair out it wouldn’t have helped because it would’ve just been messy.

Perhaps a fun ponytail? No, that would be too much like Sandy from “Grease”.

I still love the dress though, and I know that even a peep-toe pump would have been better than the extreme point toe.

Kate’s bag is by Christian Louboutin and her pumps are by designer Jonathan Kelsey.

I’m was so excited to see Zoe Saldana wearing a look from the Spring/Summer 2012 collection by Gucci. She donned a black and gold metallic look tonight at the LACMA Art + Film Gala honoring Clint Eastwood and John Baldessari in Los Angeles.

My excitement slightly diminished when I saw she wasn’t wearing a dress from the runway, but a skirt that actually looked like it was attached to a baggy shirt.

I wear t-shirts that fit me this way to sleep — I wouldn’t wear it on the red carpet. | continue reading..

Last night “In Time” star Olivia Wilde honored Clint Eastwood and John Baldessari at the Gucci presented LACMA Art + Film Gala wearing a long-sleeve chili-peppered colored gown by who else? Gucci.

I’m not going to lie — my eyes are totally drawn to the red embellished flower appliqué  adoring her waist… it’s so distracting. In a good way? A bad way? I’m not entirely sure. | continue reading..
