After spending the summer in our movie theaters starring opposite Steve Carrell in “Seeking a Friend for the End of the World”, KEIRA KNIGHTLEY returns to cinemas this fall in the title role of “Anna Karenina”; the Joe Wright-directed film based off the famed novel by Russian writer Leo Tolstoy.

As if that role wasn’t enough, the newly-engaged English actress also scored the lead for Harper Bazaar UK ‘s September issue! Ellen Von Unwerth photographed the English beauty in a mysterious dark garden wearing a whimsical array of looks straight from the Fall/Winter 2012 runways.

Last Thursday, Zooey Deschanel celebrated a great cause as she attended the Alliance For Children’s Rights annual dinner held at the Beverly Hilton Hotel. AFCR is dedicated to protecting the rights of impoverished and abused children and youth, and focused on helping them to lead healthy lives, with proper education, in stable homes.

It’s been a little while since the “Twilight” cast wrapped their global promotional tour for “The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 1″ — but it’s never too late to talk about their promo style. One of its stars, Ashley Greene, was one busiest bees during the press tour. I bet she wished for the vampire speed and the ability to stay energized as she jet-setted all over the world..

While promoting in Paris during late October, Ashley was spotted wearing a sleeveless version of this graphic tweed dress from the Resort 2012 collection by Giambattista Valli. It would have been great to see a full body shot of her in this to get a look at the fit; this was probably a great dress for her because I like what I see so far. After attending the Monday night premiere of “New Year’s Eve”, 15-year-old Abigail Breslin flew to New York City to attend the black carpet fete for the holiday film last night at the  Ziegfeld Theatre.

Abigail showed off a little leg in an asymmetric draped bodice black sequin long-sleeve dress from the Holiday 2011 collection by L’Agence. This dress was originally seen as a gown in a metallic gunmetal color, but this look is mature enough for her, so I’m glad she didn’t wear that one.

This was a huge departure from the little princess Marchesa dress she wore earlier this week; I feel like the LBD aged Abigail a few years. I would expect to see Zoe Saldana in a dress like this one.

Her honey blonde hair looked stunning in soft cascading curls, but I’m confused on her too-white Judith Leiber clutch and nude platform pumps. They’re so bland with this dress and don’t really compliment each other.

I wasn’t the biggest fan of Angelina Jolie’s look at the New York premiere of her latest film “In The Land of Blood and Honey”, but then when she takes the “all black everything” route by putting it into a suit — my whole view is changed.

Not only did Angie hit a high note by wearing a suit to the screening of the film hosted by Marie Claire Magazine at the Hearst Tower on Tuesday night — it was velvet!

Angelina selected a velvet tuxedo from the Holiday 2011 collection by L’Agence that she paired with a black top. I really, really wish she had worn the blouse from the collection. The embellished detail, plunging neck, and nipped waist giving way to a skirted hem would have looked amazing on Angelina.

Again, I wish she had worn some form of green stone jewelry, but I won’t complain about her pretty cabled hoop earrings and bracelets by David Yurman.

Christina Aguilera attended the press junket on Friday to talk about the new season of her NBC reality singing competition “The Voice” with co-judges Cee-Lo Green, Adam Levine, and Blake Shelton in Culver City, California.

Christina wore an ivory silk tie-neck blouse by L’Agence with a D&G skirt that she accessorized with a really cool Barbara Bui chain belt. She paired the look with black stockings and matching knee-high boots by Alexandre Birman.

This was very flattering for her new curvier figure, and thank goodness she wore tights. Embrace the stockings ladies! They can actually really improve your outfit and/or save any imperfections on your legs from mucking up the whole thing. | continue reading..

Get ready Twilighters, it’s “Breaking Dawn” promo time! Ashley Greene was spotted arriving in Paris, France tonight along with co-star Robert Pattinson (not pictured). The pair will be kicking vampire press off tomorrow night with a red carpet premiere fan event where they’ll do a Q&A and show clips of the “The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 1″ which is due in US theaters on November 18, 2011.

A long tiring flight didn’t stop Ashley from looking good. She took flight in mostly black wearing a tank under a sheer star printed blouse from L’Agence and paired it with sleek skinny jeans in ‘Jet Black’ from Joe’s Jeans “Fifty Five Colors” line.

To keep warm the new face of DKNY layered on a cool leather jacket from the brand.

Ashley protected her eyes from the dozens of photogs with classic Ray-Ban Wayfarer sunglasses and was able to move quickly in comfy tan suede Repetto ballet flats.

Luckily she wasn’t moving quick enough to loose hold of her iPhone and iPad (which was kept safe in a Burberry case!)
