Analeigh Tipton in Alberta Ferretti | “Warm Bodies” NYC Screening

WHO: Analeigh Tipton
WHERE & WHEN: “Warm Bodies” New York City screening on January 25, 2013.
WEARING: Alberta Ferretti dress, Rupert Sanderson shoes

MY VERDICT: Analeigh celebrated the special New York screening of her new zombie comedy last night looking beautiful and sophisticated in a  long sleeve chiffon and lace grey dress by Alberta Ferretti with a gorgeous beaded black collar that complimented the ribbon belt at her waist.  This dress is from the Pre-Fall 2012 collection, and with everyone jumping at the chance for 2013 advance looks, I was happy to see Analeigh give a little spotlight to what’s now considered a lovely design from an “older” collection.  She focused on the dress by accessorized nicely with a black clutch and patent “Elba” pumps by Rupert Sanderson.  A wispy up-do and light makeup were pretty finishing touches. | continue reading..

Marion Cotillard in Christian Dior | “Rust and Bone” New York Screening

Marion Cotillard hit the dark carpet last night for the special New York screening of her new movie “Rust and Bone”, which was hosted by The Cinema Sciety along with Dior and Vanity Fair Magazine.

The French actress, and current face of Lady Dior, shimmered beneath the theater lights in a sequin embellished short-sleeve sheer trapeze tea-length Christian Dior dress from the Raf Simons-designed Spring 2013 collection in pink with an all-over black webbed pattern. The dress is visually stunning on the runway and I adore the unique pattern, but after seeing it on Marion—I find that it’s one of those looks best left on the runway or in editorial. | continue reading..

Sami Gayle in Miu Miu | “Total Recall” NYC Premiere

Sami Gayle hit the burgundy carpet at the Landmark Sunshine Theater on Thursday for the New York Premiere of “Total Recall”, which was hosted by InStyle Magazine.

The 16-year-old actress wore a head-to-toe look from Miu Miu, which included a orchid pink cashmere sweater with puffed short sleeves and a crystal embroidered collar. Sami paired the top with a bordeaux wool pleated skirt and complimenting raspberry suede platform pumps with matching glitter coated soles.

I’ve come to expect Sami to wear Miu Miu (and only Miu Miu), but — if it works, it works. Although her hair is a little Bieber-ish and I think it would look kind of cool spiked up or a little ‘messy’, Sami looks confident and comfortable. That’s always a plus.

Did you like this look on Sami?

Alice Eve in Prada | “The Raven” NYC Screening

Alice Eve hit the black carpet last night for the New York City screening of “The Raven”, which was held at the Landmark Sunshine Cinema and hosted by DeLeon Tequila.

The 30-year-old blonde actress wore head-to-toe Prada for the evening, including a Spring 2012 powder blue cady silk v-neck dress that was accented with a thin belt and feminine bow-adorned shoulders.

While I wasn’t a fan of these vernice rose detail wedges on Dakota Fanning recently, I love this black and blue pair on Alice.

The whole look was soft and ladylike, I’m just not into the ballerina teased hairstyle. Soft waves or a bouncy ponytail would have given her ensemble a nice finish.

Lucy Liu in Chadwick Bell | “Detachment” NYC Screening

Lucy Liu opted for an edgy LBD when she attended the NYC screening of her new movie “Detachment” on Tuesday night at the Landmark Sunshine Cinema.

The 43-year-old actress selected a leather flower appliqué longsleeve dress from the Fall 2012 collection by Chadwick Bell.

I like the dress, but I really like that she added a pop of color with her long violet evening clutch from Roger Vivier. | continue reading..

Blake Lively in Dolce & Gabbana | “Haywire” NYC Screening

There were a lot of different textures going on with Blake Lively’s outfit at the “Haywire” NYC screening last Wednesday at Landmark Sunshine Cinema.

The “Gossip Girl” actress hit the grey carpet wearing a short sleeve sequined silver tee with a ribbed grey knit mini skirt by Dolce & Gabbana. I probably would have liked this look a little bit more had she wore black opaque tights with it rather than the navy blue ribbed tights. | continue reading..

While in New York City last week Elizabeth Banks took some time out of promoting “Man On A Ledge” to check out the screening of “Haywire” hosted by The Cinema Society & BlackBerry Bold at the Landmark Sunshine Cinema on Wednesday night.

Elizabeth wore another all-black look; this time a form-fitting dress — from the Spring/Summer 2012 collection by Theyskens’ Theory — with a layered ruffle hem. | continue reading..

Ashley Greene in Donna Karan | “The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 1″ NY Screening

I swear, the cast of “Twilight” jumps from one side of the country to the next in the blink of an eye.

Ashley Greene and her co-stars have been going non-stop on this massive press tour for “The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 1″. Monday night was the big black carpet premiere in Los Angeles, but last night Ash and co-stars Nikki Reed and Peter Facinelli celebrated the fourth installment of the saga with a NYC screening.

Cinema Society and DKNY hosted the special screening at Landmark Sunshine Cinema last night, and as the new face of DKNY, it was only fitting that Ash’s dress of choice for the evening would  be designed by Donna Karan!

Wow, and what a dress.

Ashley wore a very avant garde asymmetric black and white gown from the Spring/Summer 2012 collection — not seen on the catwalk. This could very easily be a boring one sleeve, crew-neck, floor-length black gown with a high slit — but I love that Donna broke up the design to bring something artsy and fresh. | continue reading..

Nikki Reed in Michael Kors | “The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 1″ NY Screening

I was just online working on some posts/minding my own business when a photo of Nikki Reed emerged from the New York screening of “The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 1″ tonight at the Landmark Sunshine Cinema.

My jaw totally dropped… and then I dropped what I was doing.

Nikki attended the Cinema Society & DKNY hosted screening of the movie wearing the to-die-for acid green floor-length dress from the Resort 2012 collection by Michael Kors. Not only was it my number one pick from the collection, but she did it justice by totally working it!

I love the neon color with black trimming against her golden complexion, and the practically backless style that created deep cutouts at the waist. It gave her waist some definition and showed off her toned shoulders. | continue reading..

Demi Moore in Zac Posen | “Margin Call” NY Premiere

Demi Moore in Zac Posen | 'Margin Call' New York Premiere

Demi Moore attended the New York City screening for “Margin Call” tonight at the Landmark Sunshine Cinema. For a movie premiere, Demi kept it kind of low-key wearing a pretty printed v-neck red dress by Zac Posen that featured cap-sleeves and hit her mid-calf with a little flare at the skirt.

Her hair is getting really long again and she left it out and loose, and it looked pretty tame now after the bedhead she was sporting at “Five” screening last month. | continue reading..
