MY VERDICT: I’m not really sure if Leslie Mann was trying to go for an unconventional and kind of “quirky” look at the CCMAs last night, but I do know that I was severely surprised by what she wore.  It wasn’t so much her bubblegum pink combo cocktail dress by Honor that shocked me, although that was a fun and unique choice.   It was the fact that Leslie paired her candy coated dress with matching accessories—truly matching.  She didn’t hold back on the pink at all! | continue reading..

LESLIE MANN rocked the red carpet at the Hollywood premiere of “This Is 40″ in a cool color-block gown and a playful Cinderella-esque up ‘do.  Leslie worked with makeup artist Georgie Eisdell to ensure a beautiful and fresh palette, which would further compliment her look rather than overpower it.

Georgie shared her tips and the products she used on Leslie, and we’re totally obsessing over these lip colors!

“For the premiere of This is 40, I wanted Leslie’s look to have a radiance about it,  keeping with her personality.  I also wanted to encapsulate her natural beauty and give it an edge,” Georgie explained her beauty inspiration for Leslie!

“To achieve this, I prepped the skin with La Mer The Moisturizing Soft Cream, giving her skin hydration and a glow.   Using CHANEL Vitalumière Moisture Rich Radiance Fluid Makeup I evened out her skin tone.   Adding a small amount of La Mer The Powder to take the edge of the shine.

Leslie Mann wore a beautiful colorblock gown last night for the Hollywood premiere of “This Is 40″!

The 40-year-old actress, who stars opposite Paul Rudd in the film, slipped into a lovely floor-length white silk Vionnet dress with an open drape neckline that framed a pretty orange speckled v-cut panel at the center while a black band defined her waist.

What a unique style—I love it. I think it’s cool that Leslie tried to mix it up by pairing her dress with black fishnet “Pigalle” pumps by Christian Louboutin, but those shoes look so uncomfortable, right?  Between the fun dress and funky heels, it seems like Leslie was in a playful mood last night.  | continue reading..

Leslie Mann got colorful in pretty aqua when she stepped out for the Variety Awards Studio event held yesterday in Los Angeles.

The “This Is 40″ actress wore a full look from the Resort 2013 collection by L’Wren Scott; a printed silk-atin high neck blouse with a neck tie that she partnered with the black and aqua embroidered open cardigan and matching knee-length aqua pencil skirt.

I’m glad she didn’t try to take it over-the-top by wearing the fun twisted satin ankle strap peep toe pumps. For the daytime event, Leslie kept it simple with black pointed toe pumps, black polished nails, neutral make-up and long loose waves.

Leslie Mann looked beautiful in polka dots last night when she stepped out on the magenta carpet to attend the 8th Annual Pink Party; a cocktail reception, fashion show, and silent live auction to support gynecologic cancer research benefiting the Cedars-Sinai women’s cancer program.

The “This Is 40″ actress wore a red, black and white polka-dot printed floor-length dress from the Fall 2012 collection by Rodarte with all-over ruffled layers, cap-sleeves and a mesh printed inset at the v-neck. The unique design was then topped off with a pretty black-and-red ruffle crew collar.

I love seeing something both new and exciting on the red carpet, and Leslie has been providing me with an abundance of fresh fashion moments lately. I’ve never been more interested to see her hit the red carpet, and I find myself wondering what she’ll wear next!

She completed this look with dark red nails and a side ponytail.

LOVE IT or HATE IT?

It was a quite the swanky affair last night when the Four Seasons Hotel Los Angeles at Beverly Hills quickly filled up with some of the most talented ladies (and fellas) in Tinseltown as they came together to help honor their fellow actors at ELLE Magazine’s annual Women In Hollywood event.

Ellie Kemper kept it chic in an ivory Moschino peplum cocktail dress with a ruffled neckline, from the Fall 2011 collection. I really love that she added some color to her look with deep red accessories. She carried a patent clutch with matching pumps before topping it all off with 18k white gold earrings with rubies and diamonds from Katerina Maxine.

“Glee” actress Naya Rivera also opted for a Fall 2011 dress by Moschino; a yellow cream sleeveless shift dress with light pin-tucking at the waist. She also opted for red accessories, including a gold and bordeaux tube clutch that she partnered with velvet open toe platform Tory Burch pumps.
