Michelle Trachtenberg opted for a lacy black strapless cocktail dress by Rebecca Taylor last Sunday when she attended the 2012 Lucille Lortel Awards in NYC.

The “Gossip Girl” actress wore her long dark hair up which showcased her bare shoulders and the delicate lace detailing peeking out from the top of her bodice.

Michelle kept her accessories color-coordinated by opting for black patent Dolce & Gabbana pumps, an oversized silver metallic Carlos Falchi clutch and a matching statement necklace.

I feel like the necklace and bag are a bit out of place even though they match each other. Her dress doesn’t stand out as much as I would like for it to because of the distracting elements.

She finished her look with a pretty pink pout and dramatic smokey eyes.
