MY VERDICT: Someone is ready for spring!  Lucy was practically a garden princess in her strapless sky blue Carolina Herrera ball gown with an all-over flower and leaf pattern.  This dress is very beautiful, but I think the “Elementary” star was the perfect lady to don this design on the red carpet as it appears to be a tough one for many to pull off.  Lucy wore her long black hair in a sweet fishtail braid before simply topping off her look with white and canary yellow diamond drop earrings, and a subtle makeup palette.

Lucy Liu dolled up last night in a black crepe floor-length dress and an animal printed cape when she attended the annual Women For Women International Gala 2012 in New York City on Thursday night.

The “Elementary” star arrived at the Koch Theatre at Lincoln Center while ‘werqing’ this beautiful sleeveless Roland Mouret dress with a gather folded neckline, cutouts at the waist of her back and a slim hourglass silhouette. Lucy Liu was on-hand last night to help Donna Karan launch her new book, an ode to her late husband,  “Stephan Weiss: Connecting The Dots” and celebrate the special exhibition opening at the Stephan Weiss Studio in New York City.

The “Elementary” star took the red carpet at the Nokia Theatre L.A. Live by storm when she arrived wearing a metal strapless gown from Versace’s Fall/Winter 2012 collection. The 43-year-old actress was interviewed for Extra while flaunting her incredible figure in a dark-and-sexy cutaway mini dress from the Fall 2010 Ready-to-Wear collection from Marios Schwab.

Like Emmy Rossum and Beth Behrs, “Elementary” star Lucy Liu also opted for a full length gown at the 2012 Critics’ Choice Television Awards on Monday night.

Lucy glided down the red carpet in a pale pink tier gown, with a plunge neckline and lace panels from Atelier Versace.

This design is from the Spring 2011 collection.

While I’m not usually a fan of such light colors, I think it looked really nice on Lucy. She wore her hair up in a elegant looped low ‘do that was very sweet and modern; it also allowed for her to completely show off both the dress neckline and her earrings. Lucy wore pretty pink drop earrings.

I couldn’t see her shoes due to the long train, but I love how she complimented the dress without being too “matchy” and carried a rosegold metallic clutch. I hope her shoes were of the same color.

Lucy Liu was on-hand yesterday for the 2012 CBS Upfront presentation where she was promoting her new show “Elementary” with Aidan Quinn and Jonny Lee Miller.

The 43-year-old showed off her age-defying figure in a crimson red gathered mini dress from the Fall 2011 collection by Marios Schwab. The wide-open neckline features a fun pearl-embellished halter strap element.

This was one of my favorite collections by Schwab, so it’s nice to see it still getting some love. I had been disappointed that this dress hadn’t gotten any spotlight.

Lucy looked fantastic, but I lost a bit of interest in it when it came to her shoes. I like her light gold Charlotte Olympia “Dolly” platform pumps — just not with this dress.

She needed an edgy sandal to play off the vibe of the dress.

 

Lucy Liu opted for an edgy LBD when she attended the NYC screening of her new movie “Detachment” on Tuesday night at the Landmark Sunshine Cinema.

The 43-year-old actress selected a leather flower appliqué longsleeve dress from the Fall 2012 collection by Chadwick Bell.

I like the dress, but I really like that she added a pop of color with her long violet evening clutch from Roger Vivier. | continue reading..
