When I go to concerts, I tend to keep it kind of casual in pants, boots and a cool top — or so I thought. After seeing Sophia Bush leave the Madonna concert in Los Angeles last night at the Staples Center, I think I might be doing it wrong.

The “Partners” actress raised the bar for concert wear by donning a super fierce burgundy and black midnight floral v-neck sleeveless dress by Helmut Lang with glazed black leather insets at the sides ($995, shopbop.com).

This dress comes from the Fall/Winter 2012 collection. | continue reading..

Madonna rocked a sexy black, sheer embroidered dress by Dolce & Gabbana when she appeared at the launch of her signature fragrance “Truth Or Dare” at Macy’s Herald Square in NYC last night.

Is it just me, or does the 53-year-old singer looked even better — and younger, than she did a few months ago when she performed at Super Bowl XLVI? The light make-up and full, voluminous cascading waves gave her such a youthful glow. | continue reading..

I was on pins and needles rooting for the New York Giants tonight right after the New England Patriots scored a touchdown and took the lead… then they cut me off with the halftime show. I put aside my eagerness to check out the outfit Madonna wore during her Bridgestone Super Bowl XLVI Halftime performance only to find out there were three!

Madonna took to the stage tonight for duets with Nicki Minaj and M.I.A., LMFAO, and Cee-Lo Green to perform some of her biggest hits in three couture looks by Riccardo Tisci for Givenchy. | continue reading..

Madonna is set to take over the Bridgestone Super Bowl XLVI halftime show tomorrow night as the New York Giants and New England Patriots face off, but on Thursday the singer held a press conference to talk about the upcoming performance in which she’ll share the stage with LMFAO, M.I.A., Nicki Minaj and Cee-Lo Green.

The “Material Girl” hit the Super Bowl XLVI Media Center in the J.W. Marriott Indianapolis wearing one of the coolest looks I’ve seen her in lately — a pinstripe menswear inspired couture look by Jean Paul Gaultier. | continue reading..

Andrea Riseborough joined Madonna tonight at the The Weinstein Company with The Cinema Society & Forevermark hosted New York City premiere of their film “W.E.”.

The 30-year-old actress arrived on the red carpet at the Ziegfeld Theatre wearing a beautiful black cocktail dress with silver metallic embroidery from the Spring/Summer 2012 collection by Marchesa.

I adore the layered peplum and triangular detail at the bodice. | continue reading..

Madonna was obviously going for some serious drama when she hit the red carpet tonight for the premiere of her film “W.E.” hosted by The Weinstein Company with The Cinema Society & Forevermark at the legendary Ziegfeld Theatre in New York City.

Bursting with voluminous tulle at the shoulders, Madonna selected this black gown from the Fall/Winter 2011 collection by Marchesa that featured a gliding floor-length velvet black skirt and an embroidered illusion bodice. | continue reading..

It’s not often that I like what Madonna wears, but just last week I had praised her “W.E.” UK premiere dress as one of the best things she had worn lately. That held me over for a few days, because she topped it on Sunday when she attended the 2012 Golden Globe Awards ceremony in Beverly Hills.

Madonna arrived on the red carpet wearing a dark green embroidered gown with cap-sleeves from the Pre-Fall 2012 collection by Reem Acra better than the model in the presentation. | continue reading..

Madonna in Dolce & Gabbana | 'W.E.' London Premiere

Madonna celebrated her film “W.E.” at the London premiere Wednesday night held at the Odeon Kensington.

The “Material Girl” — yes, I still call her that — hit the red carpet wearing a floor-length black velvet gown with a lace cape by Dolce & Gabbana. I’ll be honest, I’m never really into what she wears — but I was for this.

Okay, so I wasn’t feeling the huge neck-tie, but this was a serious improvement over some of the other dresses she’s worn to promote this movie – so I’ll take it. | continue reading..

Madonna in L’Wren Scott | 2011 London Film Festival Premiere – “W.E.”

Madonna celebrated her film “W.E.” tonight at the London Film Festival premiere held at The Empire Leicester Square  donned in a black cocktail dress designed by L’Wren Scott which she paired with fishnet stockings and black leather Gucci pumps.

While I like this look for Madge, it’s far from flawless.

I love the simplicity of the fuchsia and gold sequin embroidered laurel leaf design traveling from her shoulder to the hem on the opposite side. I’m also thrilled she wore tights — not only was it practical for the weather, but I don’t understand why women are so afraid of tights on the red carpet. Sometimes they just work. | continue reading..
