Makeup artist Mai Quynh, who has worked with Kristen many times before, was inspired by Kristen’s auburn hair and black-and-nude outfit, so she wanted to give her a dark eye—with a twist. “I wanted to change it up a little bit. Instead of using black, I gravitated toward warmer colors,” Mai explained. “I mixed a maroon and bronze eye shadow and layered them on her eye.” Although Mai wanted to leave a tough black out of the look, she did use it to line the inner rim of Kristen’s eyes. Ginnifer Goodwin looked like a little doll on the red carpet last night when she arrived for the 2012 American Music Awards wearing a pretty pink Oscar de la Renta cocktail dress.

The “Once Upon a Time” actress was in attendance of the 40th anniversary of the awards ceremony to present alongside her costar Jennifer Morrison. Ginny wore a light pink floral guipure embroidered dress from Mr. de la Renta’s Resort 2013 runway collection, which she complimented with silver mirrored accessories.
