“Nikita” actress Melinda Clarke joined the neon trend when she attended last night’s Entertainment Weekly star-studded party, which was held at the Hard Rock Hotel San Diego in honor of Comic-Con.

Melinda partnered her slim-fitting black “Starfish” dress by Gomez-Gracia with a pair of neon pink pointed toe pumps.

I wonder if Jessica Biel was her inspiration.

The cool cutouts at the shoulders of her plunging v-neck dress kept the design from being too classic.

This look was complete with a matching back evening clutch and side-gathered wavy locks.

Now that Comic-Con is coming to a close, I hope Melinda has a few days to rest up before getting back to work on the show.

Melinda Clarke hit the red carpet on Friday night for the Maxim, FX and Fox Home Entertainment Comic-Con party at Andaz in San Diego, California where she donned a shiny monochromatic look.

The 43-year-old “Nikita” actress wore a white cap sleeve dress with a black leather panel from the Pre-Fall 2012 Alice + Olivia by Stacey Bendet collection.

For a dress this eye-popping, she needed her accessories to capture the vibe of the edgy design. Melinda’s t-strap platform pumps and glam Tacori white gold double diamond drop earrings are very nice, but they just didn’t do it for me.

Not with this dress.

She finished off with a loosely tousled up ‘do and a glossy pink pout.

The 43-year-old actress looked youthful in a pair of lipstick red 811 Mid-Rise skinny leg jeans by J. Brand that brightened up her black Contrarian NY sheer yoke tee and matching pumps.

I liked this on her because it was stylish, but very casual for the laid-back convention environment. This isn’t a film festival nor a premiere — there’s no need to get over dressed. | continue reading..
