Paula Patton finally got it right when it came to mini dresses when she attended the UK premiere of “Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol” last night at the BFI IMAX theater in London.

The pretty brunette actress recently wore some questionable looks on the global promotional tour for the action flick, but she simply twinkled last night in a beautiful long-sleeve cocktail dress from the Fall/Winter 2011 collection by Naeem Khan. The dazzling crystal bead and sequin embellishing throughout the nearly knee-length silver dress was stunning — especially with the mesh insets at the arm. There was also some sheerness throughout the rest of the design, but it was covered up by a thin underlying garment that Paula wore.

This dress was just the right length for her, not too long, and definitely not too short. With dark nails, metallic smokey eyes, and bouncy voluminous curls, this turned out to be one of my favorite red carpet appearances from her on this tour. | continue reading..

She’s worn coral twice on the global promotional for “Mission Impossible 4: Ghost Protocol” the past month, but last night Paula Patton embraced a gorgeous shade of purple!

The M:I4 actress rocked a leopard printed purple and black strapless gown by Dolce&Gabbana when she arrived on the red carpet at the Callao Theater on the Calle Gran Villa for the premiere in Madrid with her co-stars Tom Cruise and Simon Pegg.

She has gotten some very mixed reviews for this look, but I like it — it’s fun! Fashion is supposed to be fun, and as long as she’s not wearing that white fur coat with it — I’m okay with this. | continue reading..

What in the world?!

I’ve been praising the last two looks seen on Paula Patton during her global promotional tour for “Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol”, but I can not support her arrival style for the German premiere on Friday night.

Paula wore a sexy silver metallic off-the-shoulder corset mini dress by Vivienne Westwood Red Label, but it was the white fur coat she arrived on the red carpet at the BMW Welt in that killed it. I mean… really? I don’t think I need to tell you what this look was reminiscent of.

Considering she wasn’t going to leave it on for long, a knee-length ecru or black wool coat would have served its purpose of keeping her warm while looking much classier. | continue reading..

Paula Patton in Giambattista Valli for Impulse | “Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol” Seoul Press Conference

Despite mixed reviews on many of the dresses Paula Patton donned for the global press tour for “Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol”, most can agree that her shoes were always perfection.

For the press conference held in Seoul, South Korea earlier this month, Paula wore a pair of fan-tas-tic furry “Alexa” hidden platform black boots by Brian Atwood. I can’t decide what I liked more, her boots or that leopard printed leather trim dress by Giambattista Valli for Impulse — exclusively sold at MACY’S. | continue reading..

Before hitting the red carpet in a gorgeous Andrew Gn gown for the Dubai International Film Festival on December 7th, Paula Patton attended the press conference for “Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol” — with co-stars Tom Cruise, Simon Pegg and Anil Kapoor — in another lacy design by Dolce&Gabbana.

The 36-year-old actress wore a long-sleeve square-neckline black lace dress from the Fall/Winter 2011 collection that hit her just above the knee. Instead of the sequined purple bodysuit seen on the runway, Paula toned it down with a black slip dress underneath. | continue reading..

Paula Patton and Tom Cruise hit the next stop on their international press tour for “Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol”. The two joined their co-stars Anil Kapoor and Simon Pegg, along with their director Brad Bird, at the Dubai International Film Festival last night to sign autographs for fans on the red carpet before premiering the film at the Madinat Jumeriah Complex.

The 36-year-old actress, once again, looked magical in a floor-length dress! I really think she would wear gowns more often because they favor her so well. Earlier this week she wore a Michael Kors gown in Mumabi.

For the DIFF she selected a dark coral strapless silk chiffon dress from the Resort 2012 collection by Andrew Gn with a beaded design at the waist and a rise-and-fall tier skirt. This design was originally presented in a bright purple, but I prefer this color on Paula as it flawlessly compliments her complexion. | continue reading..

On Friday, Paula Patton hit the next stop on the international press tour for ”Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol”. The 36-year-old actress arrived on the red carpet at the Times Square theater in Seoul, South Korea in a feisty leopard printed Dolce&Gabbana dress.

This dress was originally seen during the Fall/Winter 2010 presentation, but it appears that the print was updated a bit.

While many try, not everyone can pull off leopard print flawlessly, but Paula did a good job. I love her hair and make-up, but what’s up with this awkward posing? Not clear on.

It’s cold in Seoul, but she was able to show off the sexy style of the gathered sweetheart cocktail dress with an attached long-sleeve lacy crew-neck underlay to keep the bite of the air off her arms.

I’m totally into her lace cutout ankle boots, though I think they were too busy for such a bold dress. This is one of those times where black sleek stilettos come in handy.
