Last night was an evening of style at the CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund Awards at Skylight SOHO in New York City. For the eighth year, the stars and designers came out to celebrate fashion and give out awards to deserving U.S.-based designers while giving them a shot at a long career in the industry.
Among the attendees were Amanda Seyfried, Olivia Wilde, Rooney Mara, and Zoe Kravitz as they arrived with the designers of their dresses for the evening, which included Prabal Gurung and Alexander Wang.
Rooney Mara, still sporting her really awkward haircut for her role in “The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo”, wore a peach silk dress by Calvin Klein. The paleness of the Spring/Summer 2012 dress blends with her skin, and then her dark lipstick is a harsh contrast. Love Rooney, but all of this combined with the haircut is just making the look so hard to take seriously. To some, it may be “artsy” — but I just can’t get into it.
