Julianne Hough stepped out on the red carpet on Thursday for a special event screening of her new movie “Rock of Ages”, held at the Regal South Beach Cinemas in Miami, Florida.

The 23-year-old star had no problem rocking a bright blue leather mini dress from the Fall 2012 collection by Milly. This sassy asymmetrical number featured a cap-sleeve at the right shoulder with a ruffled short sleeve at the left.

For the biggest party of the year, Paula Patton slipped into a black silk sleeveless mini dress by Moschino Cheap & Chic with a drapey neckline and completely embellished with gold safety pins.

I had only seen a few pictures of her sitting on Robin’s lap, so I figured the extra short version of this was just hiking up on her thighs from being seated. Before partying it into the new year at Diddy’s CIROC NYE bash that night, Rihanna relaxed around Miami with pals after leaving the Soirage Hotel. The pop singer had just arrived after spending the holidays with family in Barbados.

RiRi was the epitome of casual cool in the warm weather as she rocked comfy color-block starter shorts by Alexander Wang. The black, red, and yellow glossy tricot shorts featured black and white plaid paneling at the pocket sides with yellow trimmed patched pockets on the all-black finish rear.

After a full year of extravagant red hair and a risqué wardrobe to match, Rihanna toned things down for NYE — of all times. The 23-year-old singer wore a beautiful-yet-sexy leopard lacy long-sleeve black knee-length dress by Tom Ford.
