MY VERDICT: Sal was vibrant in violet when she hit the scarlet carpet for the 2013 Daytime Emmy Awards. The former “American’s Next Top Model” winner has found a new home on “All My Children”, and she brought her beauty A-game to the annual ceremony in a slinky Moschino satin gown. The sultry floor-length design features twisted straps and a sexy dramatic draped open back. This purple tone is beautiful against her rich complexion, and I loved her long braid.

I wonder if Sal and her AMC costar Denyse Tontz planned their lookalike ‘dos!

Shimmering smoky eyes and minimal accessories completed her look. Sometimes less is more, but I think a few diamond and amethyst bracelets would had added a complimenting sparkle.

MY VERDICT: Lily and Jamie were the perfect little dynamic duo when they hit the red carpet for the annual gala. This year’s theme was PUNK: Chaos to Couture in celebration of the new punk exhibition at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York. The “Mortal Instruments” stars both wore Moschino ensembles that complimented each other.

Many men stuck by classic tuxedos with tartan elements, but Jamie added real edge to his look by rocking a standard tux with safety pin embellishments along the collar and cummerbund. He slicked his hair to the side, donned a faux nose ring and finished off with classic black and white spectator dress shoes. MY VERDICT:  I think we saw one of the best looks ever from Vanessa at the Vanity Fair post-Oscar bash this year.  After several days of fast-paced promo for her new movie “Spring Breakers” in Europe last week, the 24-year-old appeared bright eyed and ready to party when she arrived at the annual event in a pretty slinky fully sequined copper gown by Moschino.  The sassy little dress featured a cowl neck and draped back.

This actually seemed like it was created for Vanessa because it fit so well; the slim column cut made the petite gal appear taller than she actually is.  | continue reading..

It was a quite the swanky affair last night when the Four Seasons Hotel Los Angeles at Beverly Hills quickly filled up with some of the most talented ladies (and fellas) in Tinseltown as they came together to help honor their fellow actors at ELLE Magazine’s annual Women In Hollywood event.

Ellie Kemper kept it chic in an ivory Moschino peplum cocktail dress with a ruffled neckline, from the Fall 2011 collection. I really love that she added some color to her look with deep red accessories. She carried a patent clutch with matching pumps before topping it all off with 18k white gold earrings with rubies and diamonds from Katerina Maxine.

“Glee” actress Naya Rivera also opted for a Fall 2011 dress by Moschino; a yellow cream sleeveless shift dress with light pin-tucking at the waist. She also opted for red accessories, including a gold and bordeaux tube clutch that she partnered with velvet open toe platform Tory Burch pumps. Miley Cyrus let it all hang out when she appeared on “The Tonight Show with Jay Leno” on Friday night to talk about her new recurring arc on “Two and a Half Men”, which is set to air this month.

With an edgy new razor-sharp pixie cut, the 19-year-old needed something rebellious to wear that would work with it. I think she found it, but I’m not sure if she was in the right place for it.

Miley stepped out Jay’s stage wearing an eye-popping cutout strapless crop top bustier from the Fall 2012 collection by Anthony Vaccarello, but just because she exposed a lot of skin up top didn’t mean she was going to do the same everywhere else. The 35-year-old actress arrived wearing a champagne-colored tank dress from Moschino with a petal layered effect throughout and a big black satin bow at the waist.
