MY VERDICT: Hayden’s hit ABC show “Nashville” may be on summer break here in the states, but she hit the promo trail for the first season in London this week. The 23-year-old looked pretty for her appearance on BBC Breakfast in a Jonathan Simkhai pink, white and grey striped sleeveless a-line dress from the designer’s Resort 2013 collection.

Having “dress déjà vu”? “Glee” star Jenna Ushkowitz wore this same flirty number to a network party back in January!

To keep warm in the chilly weather, Hayden toughened her dress up with a warm–yet cool, leather draped jacket. Clearly the jacket wasn’t part of her outfit for the interview appearance, albeit both pieces were really cute. A pink hued makeup palette, softy wavy tresses, and a pair of nude patent platform pumps completed her talk show look.

MY VERDICT: After rocking a playful aqua short suit on the purple carpet, Carrie was back in her signature a-line silhouette for her beautiful CMT Music Awards performance of “See You Again”. The Country songbird wore a pretty blush sequin embroidered silk organza Oscar de la Renta dress. Although this Fall 2013 design was never seen on the runway, a similar black design was presented with a white lace pattern replacing the sequins. | continue reading..

MY VERDICT: Oh my SPARKLE! I guess Kellie Pickler wasn’t ready to say “goodbye” to her shimmering dancing wardrobe just yet. The newly crowned “Dancing with the Stars” champ lit the violet CMT Music Awards carpet up with a powerful beaded and sequin-embellished rose gown by Jean Fares Couture. Kellie needed to lay on the bronzer when she selected the design from Fares’ “Back ‘N Roll” collection, which features a sexy halterneck design with a plunging neckline and back, and an exaggerated looped detail at the waist. MY VERDICT: After showing off her post-baby curves on the red purple carpet, Kristen Bell took the CMT Music Awards stage with her co-host Jason Aldean wearing a shimmering molten gold number. The 32-year-old actress selected this cap sleeve textured pattern Monique Lhuillier dress, from the designer’s Fall/Winter 2013-2014 collection. She kept her accessories minimal by opting for a silver cuff bracelet, and then finished with metallic heels (not pictured) and a partially pulled back hairstyle. | continue reading..

MY VERDICT: Kacey sparkled in a pink Gomez-Gracia dress at the 2013 CMT Music Awards. The “Blowin’ Smoke” singer selected the Resort 2013 design; the “Patricia” long sleeve short dress, which is completely embroidered with thousands of hand-sewn iridescent micro-sequins in yellow, blue, silver and pale pink. You may remember seeing Carly Rae Jepsen don the halterneck gown version at the American Music Awards last year.

I thought the dress was a fun choice for Kacy, but I wasn’t really into her nude Jimmy Choo accessories; she carried the “Cayla” clutch and wore the strappy platform “Vamp” sandals. | continue reading..

MY VERDICT: Brantley Gilbert joined his fiancée Jana Kramer at the CMT Music Awards where he donned a cool leather jacket. The 28-year-old Country singer/songwriter arrived at the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville wearing a deep navy Anthony Franco alligator embossed biker jacket, which he layered over a slub charcoal t-shirt. Keeping his look on the casual side, Brantley finished with black jeans, worn cowboy boots, a black baseball cap, and silver jewelry from John Varvatos and David Yurman.

I dig it.

MY VERDICT: AnnaSophia Robb was truly pretty in pink for the CMT Music Awards! The “Carrie Diaries” starlet dazzled in a soft pink beige lace halterneck dress by Georges Chakra, from the designer’s Spring/Summer 2012 Haute Couture collection, which features sparkling crystal detailing throughout the sheer overlay.

The subtle shimmer and delicate lace was very beautiful and lightweight for the petite actress. | continue reading..

MY VERDICT: In true “Swift Style”, Taylor arrived on the CMT Music Awards violet carpet wearing a pale dress with shimmering champagne gold sequin embroidery. The “22″ singer selected this Elie Saab vanilla strapless silk georgette dress, from the Spring/Summer 2013 collection, with an uneven hemline and a scattered embellished pattern. I think the dress is really pretty, but there’s something off about this look, and I think it’s more-so Taylor’s hair and accessories.

Although it wouldn’t have been anything new for her, I think leaving the hair out (maybe pinned to the side?) with a sandal rather than booties would have been more ideal. I’m all about an edgy shoe to switch it up, but not this shoe with this dress. | continue reading..
