A newly blonde Natalie Portman was Cinderella for a night when she attended the opening night performance of Benjamin Millepied’s dance company L.A. Dance Project, which was sponsored by Van Cleef & Arpels and held at Walt Disney Concert Hall in Los Angeles, California on Saturday night.

The 31-year-old “Black Swan” actress supported her husband Millepied in style by wearing an exquisite beaded strapless white tea-length gown from the Christian Dior Fall/Winter 2012 Haute Couture collection, which was designed by Raf Simons — Dior’s new Creative Director. Natalie Portman looked absolutely stunning on Thursday night when she attended the New York City Ballet’s 2012 Spring Gala at the David H. Koch Theater in Lincoln Center wearing this gorgeous navy blue tulle Christian Dior tiered gown.

I adore the black leather detailing at the halterneck straps that transcended into a folded bow at the bodice with a matching belt.

I could go on and on about this one because she looked so beautiful. I’d expect to see this kind of look from her during awards season. In fact, I’m actually quite disappointed that I didn’t.

She finished off her look with a tousled chignon, complimenting make-up, a Dior black clutch and diamond earrings.

This past Friday, Natalie Portman was on hand for the 10th anniversary celebration in honor of the opening of the Audrey Hepburn Children’s House in Hacksensack, New Jersey.

Natalie kept her look simple and sweet by donning a Spring 2012 sleeveless white dress by Giambattista Valli that was bordered with pretty ruffles.

She accessorized with light diamond stud earrings and a pair of black pumps. I think a grey sandal or a pump in a dark color like navy or plum would have been preferable than the stark black, but Natalie often likes to wear a basic black pump. Thankfully, these were livened up with little appliqués at the heel.

Light make-up and softly waved hair completed this look.

Natalie’s never overdone and always looks beautiful.

Natalie Portman took a dip into the Lanvin archives for her dress when she spoke last night at the 2012 Elie Wiesel National Tribute Dinner held in Washington, D.C.

The event was hosted by US Holocaust Memorial Museum at the Gaylord National Hotel & Convention Center.

Every year there are many dresses that are beautiful, tons that are talked about, and a lot that get mixed reviews. It took a lot of nail biting to narrow down the top 15 that really stood out to me over the last year, but I think I picked some pretty ladies in beautiful gowns that got the red carpet treatment they deserved.

15. Jane Fonda in Emilio Pucci
I’ll kick this list off with Jane Fonda in this long-sleeve Emilio Pucci ivory dress at the Cannes Film Festival back in May. Someone needs to direct me to the fountain of youth and fitness that Jane is drinking from because she looks more amazing every year. This dress was originally seen with cutout details, but Jane added some modesty by filling in the gaps with lace.
