Cate Blanchett joined her costars from “Uncle Vanya” during a photocall, held during the 2012 Lincoln Center Festival on Wednesday afternoon at the New York City Center.

The 43-year-old Australian actress wore a professional look consisting of a black blazer and ankle-length black pants. Cate brightened her ensemble brilliantly with a green and white striped “Moe” collared blouse from the Resort 2013 collection by Preen. I love the different shades of green making up each stripe.

Cate finished off her look with minimal make-up and a classic pair of black suede Roger Vivier ballet flats.

Maggie Q wore a head-to-toe Lanvin ensemble when she stepped out on the black carpet for the 2012 CW Upfronts presentation on Thursday in New York City.

The “Nikita” actress donned a pleated techno jersey sleeveless grey dress and cinched the waist with a tan leather belt.

The 18-year-old actress attended the CW Upfront presentation today in NYC to promote “The Carrie Diaries”. The show is based on the prequel novel to the “Sex and the City” phenomenon.

Thank goodness for Jaime King! I thought I would never see this Spring 2012 look from Proenza Schouler on the red carpet. I was hoping a fearless lady would try it and save it from being left to editorial or used as separates elsewhere.

The 33-year-old took the challenge and rocked this pattern-block black bustier bandeau and tropical floral printed, bright yellow skirt today at the 2012 CW Upfront presentation in NYC.

Jaime has the attitude and body to pull this off — which she did. I would have wanted her to add a necklace if she had left the look as is, but she wore a Rag & Bone black blazer over it for most of the carpet and therefore a necklace wasn’t needed. | continue reading..

The 30-year-old “Hart of Dixie” actress — and dedicated Chanel fan — wore a cream chiffon dress from the Spring 2012 collection. The knee-length dress features gathering at the flouncy skirt and a capelet that lays over the shoulders.

Kaylee DeFer looked amazing in this incredible long-sleeve red dress when she stepped out for the “Young Adult” screening at the Tribeca Grand Screening Room on Friday.

Kaylee arrived for the Cinema Society & Dior Beauty hosted evening in a dress from the Resort 2012 collection by Donna Karan. I love the sexy sheer insets all over the neckline and sleeves of the dress — it really made this a not-so-basic LRD.

I wish she had worn the shoes, but it might have been overwhelming for her. Either way, I don’t like the black pumps. However, I do like her delicate silver necklace — although it should have been shorter and just hit at the lowest point of the v-neck.

Her sun-kissed skin and strawberry red hair just enhanced her whole appearance for me. She looked better than the model in this dress.

Sarah Jessica Parker was back to normal after that disaster at the “Tower Heist” premiere last night.

She joined her husband Matthew Broderick at the New York City Center reopening gala ribbon cutting and performance at Cipriani 42nd Street wearing a beautiful coat dress from Antonio Berardi‘s Spring/Summer 2012 collection.

Leave it up to SJP to wear a SS12 dress and still make it look like an autumn look. She accessorized with Manolo Blahnik pumps (surprise, surprise), a vintage Charles Jourdan bag, and Fred Leighton jewelry.

I love the black tights with the floral embroidery, but I wouldn’t think to pair them with this dress. But, even if someone suggested the idea to me…maybe I’d…yeah, I still wouldn’t.
