MY VERDICT: Another event, another great outfit for Elizabeth–you know, the usual. The 39-year-old actress attended the New York City screening of “The LEGO Movie” wearing a stellar outfit made up of cool blues and edgy black. First things first, Elizabeth donned a dusty blue sleeveless David Koma dress with a ribbed flounce skirt from the Fall 2013 collection that featured black geometric swirl beaded patterns throughout the drop-waist bodice. | continue reading..
MY VERDICT: After donning a funky little jumpsuit for the Los Angeles premiere of “The LEGO Movie” over the weekend, Elizabeth took promo for the new animated movie to the East Coast and appeared on “The Today Show” in New York this morning.
A sassy little red cocktail dress clearly isn’t only reserved for the evening, as Elizabeth stunned in a Roland Mouret “Carrara” pencil dress with an asymmetric neckline. | continue reading..
MY VERDICT: Lily displayed effortless beauty at its very best when she rocked the red carpet at the New York City premiere of “Monument Men” wearing a not-so-simple black slip dress. The Victoria’s Secret Angel selected a viscose cocktail dress by Cushnie et Ochs; the Pre-Fall 2014 design fell just below Lily’s knees and featured a sexy double strap that connected to the center of the bust for a fun peek-a-boo effect.
She could have taken the look to another level with major makeup or accessories, but I much prefer her subtle approach with soft makeup, lightly waved soft ombré locks, black pumps with silver detail, and a coordinated box clutch. Lily looked great.
MY VERDICT: In the midst of award season, Oscar nominee Cate celebrated the New York premiere of her latest movie “Monument Men” tonight at the Ziegfeld Theater wearing a long sleeve embellished black dress by Proenza Schouler.
The Australian beauty selected the high neck, long sleeve midi dress from the latest Pre-Fall 2014 collection, which featured gold layered micro studded detailing throughout the layered frock. While I can’t deny that Cate looked lovely, I think it’s the boot lover in me that prefers the downtown cool styling vibe of the tall leather stacked heel boots on the model. I also dig the loose carefree tresses over Cate’s elegant side chignon.
Soft makeup, black patent pointe Giuseppe Zanotti pumps, and Chopard emerald-cut 6 carat diamond stud earrings framed in white diamond pave and set in 18-karat white gold provided the finishing touches.
MY VERDICT: It was another black and golden ensemble for Shay when she stepped out on the blue rug for the DirecTV Super Saturday Night celebration held in honor of the NFL Super Bowl XLVIII. The 26-year-old “Pretty Little Liars” actress followed up her fierce Versace LBD with a black leace crop top from Australian label NICHOLAS that she partnered with a Tabitha Simmons sleek pencil skirt, which featured a sassy split at the center. | continue reading..
MY VERDICT: It’s freezing outside, but Shay turned up the heat when she hit the red carpet for ESPN’s annual pre-Super Bowl bash on Friday night at Pier 36 in New York City. The “Pretty Little Liars” actress wore a fabulous little Versace black layered silk dress with a square neckline, gold safety pin detail at the straps, and a peek-a-boo cutout beneath the bust. | continue reading..
