Oh, don’t tell me you’re surprised by this. I like a few of Ke$ha’s songs, and I can appreciate that as a dance artist she likes to take it over the top—but, some things should never be worn together. Over the last twelve months, the “Die Young” singer has worn some absolutely ridiculous get ups. I liked her galaxy blazer she wore during a concert in December and her side braided hair looked cool, and then….everything else happened.

I really liked the neon gown and cosmic baubles Nicki Minaj arrived wearing for the American Music Awards last night, but I can’t say the same about her second dress of choice following the performance of her single “Freedom” during the 40th anniversary of the music awards ceremony.

Nicki took the stage to accept her award for ‘Favorite Rap/Hip-Hop Artist’ while donned in a absolutely gorgeous black pleated silk-chiffon gown by Gucci; this dark and dramatic Fall 2012 design featured sheer sleeves, a tulle inset at the bust and all-over navy blue sequin and beaded floral embroidery scattered amongst it. | continue reading..

I was a bit taken back by Nicki Minaj’s dress when she arrived last night for the 2012 American Music Awards, and not because it was revealing—because it wasn’t.  Not because it looked fantastic on her—even though it did.  My surprise was due to the fact that it also looked beautiful on “Modern Family” star Julie Bowen when she wore the exact same dress to the Primetime Emmy Awards less than two months ago!

That’s right, you’re having déjà vu because both ladies donned this neon lemon-lime strapless trumpet gown from the Resort 2013 collection by Monique Lhuillier.  Even though it’s taboo for two high profile stars to wear the same dress to two different major award show ceremonies, I can’t help but love this dress on Nicki. | continue reading..

As I’ve said before, it’s practically impossible to predict what Nicki Minaj will wear to an event, but you can always count on the fact that it will be something to talk about. Sometimes that’s a good thing… and many times it’s not.

When it came to the outfit of the “Starships” singer at the MTV Video Music Awards last night, I actually think Nicki did a pretty good job this time around. Last year we were treated to a very odd attachment of tie-dye stuffed animals to her printed bodysuit, so it’s safe to say that her black lace Versace catsuit with ruby red jewel embellishments was much more appropriate.

At least she was completely covered and it complimented her curves better than Rita Ora’s did. | continue reading..

Tomorrow is the big night when all of your favorite stars from the music world take home their moonman  trophy for having some of the best music videos of the entire year at the 2012 MTV Video Music Awards! This year they will be held at the Staples Center in Hollywood, and you can expect some major heavy-hitters to be in attendance like Rihanna, Taylor Swift, Miley Cyrus, and wait… Robert Pattinson?

Oh yeah, there will definitely be some “Twilight” festivities happening.

Considering the ceremony is less than 24-hours away, I feel like it was my fashionable duty to prepare for the red carpet by sharing some of my wish-listed style choices for the VMA attendees. Although they might not wear any of it, it’s still fun. Remember, they’re not really predictions — it’s The Fashion Court: WISH LIST . But, if someone does wear what I listed…it was totally due to my ability to see the future. That’s my story, and I’m sticking to it.

The 29-year-old rapper is part of the campaign with Ricky Martin that benefits the fight against HIV/AIDS.

With her Barbie-blonde wig and signature pink lips in full effect, Nicki arrived on the pale pink carpet at Stage 37 in NYC wearing a blue, periwinkle and hot pink button-down sleeveless dress with side-cutouts and a plunging neckline complete with a bow-tie. It was all about pink power on Wednesday night as Kelly Osbourne celebrated the MAC Cosmetics “Viva Glam” party held at Stage 37 in New York City during New York Fashion Week.

The Viva Glam campaign, which stars Nicki Minaj and Ricky Martin, benefits the fight against HIV/AIDS.

Kelly rocked a hot pair of pink and lavender “Cregger” cut-out pumps by Aldo x Mark Fast with a super cool cap-sleeve “Isis” laminated dress with architectural seams and sheer back from Kymerah. Nicki Minaj’s dress was probably the only thing I found interesting about her controversial performance last night during the 2012 GRAMMY Awards.

The 29-year-old rapper sang her single “Roman Holiday” wearing a tobacco silk organza gown and cutout belt from the Spring/Summer 2012 collection by Oscar de la Renta.

I’d rather not see this dress with her blonde Barbie wig and that jewelry though.

Oh well.

Everyone awaited to see what crazy outfit Nicki Minaj would rock tonight at the 54th Annual GRAMMY Awards, but I bet no one was really prepared for what they would see.

The 29-year-old rapper arrived on the red carpet on the arm of “The Pope” wearing a red satin nun’s habit gown created by Atelier Versace — as you can tell by the black bead-embellished logo on the skirt.

I was on pins and needles rooting for the New York Giants tonight right after the New England Patriots scored a touchdown and took the lead… then they cut me off with the halftime show. I put aside my eagerness to check out the outfit Madonna wore during her Bridgestone Super Bowl XLVI Halftime performance only to find out there were three!

Madonna took to the stage tonight for duets with Nicki Minaj and M.I.A., LMFAO, and Cee-Lo Green to perform some of her biggest hits in three couture looks by Riccardo Tisci for Givenchy. | continue reading..
