MY VERDICT: Caroline Sunshine was all smiles on the red carpet as she joined her “Shake It Up” costars Bella Thorne and Zendaya to celebrate the first annual Radio Disney Music Awards. The 17-year-old actress opted for a bold fashion approach by selecting the Alice + Olivia “Sia” peter pan collard placket gown, from the Spring 2013 collection, which features a fun all over orange flower pattern and a white belt sitting at the natural waist.

I won’t deny that the dress aged Caroline a bit, but I think that could have been avoided slightly by styling her long blonde hair into a high ponytail instead of a mature bun. Hoop earrings, the perfect amount of makeup, and a silver clutch completed her look.

MY VERDICT: Wow, Zendaya totally nailed it with her outfit of choice at the first annual Radio Disney Music Awards! The “Shake It Up” starlet–who’s currently electrifying the dance floor this year on “Dancing with the Stars”, arrived on the scarlet carpet wearing a fearless printed short suit from Juicy Couture. The 16-year-old donned the minty green “Palmetto” printed blazer and trouser shorts from the Spring 2013 collection, which she partnered with a sheer white blouse that featured an embellished collar. | continue reading..

MY VERDICT: I think Bridgit was one of the best dressed stars at the first annual Radio Disney Music Awards in my eyes. The “Good Luck Charlie” star was on-hand to perform her new single “Hurricane” (it’s addicting, trust me) and wore a cool grey tie-dye sleeveless playsuit from Topshop that features hot pink and fluorescent yellow trim along the arm openings and neck along with crsytal embellishments. MY VERDICT: After showing off a sexier side at the MTV Movie Awards earlier this month, Selena kept it a bit more PG when she attended the first annual Radio Disney Music Awards in a black and white printed draped Blumarine mini skirt, from the Fall 2013 collection, with pops of pink and orange.

MY VERDICT: “Jessie” star Debby Ryan rocked the red carpet at the first annual Radio Disney Music Awards in a bold shocking pink custom DKNY fit-and-flare dress, which she partnered with a pair of Jean-Michel Cazabat strappy “Oka” sandals that are made up of snakeskin and floral patterns in a vibrant mix of yellow and green shades.

I like that Debby took the splash of contrasting color a step further by additionally accessorizing with a “Agatha” jade marble printed acrylic box clutch by ashlyn’d. The “Shake It Up” star donned a dark blue rosette embroidered strapless bustier crop top and matching mini skirt by Keepsake, which she brightened up with a plethora of rainbow colored accessories. MY VERDICT: It’s been two days and I still can’t get over how fabulous Brittany looked at the People’s Choice Awards on Wednesday night. The “Pitch Perfect” actress wore a beautiful sunny yellow “Zoe” dress from the Spring 2013 collection by Maria Lucia Hohan. This plunging neck design featured gathering at the waist and cutout detail at the side; all of the cutaway openings were filled with MLH’s signature tulle illusion fabric. MY VERDICT: Heidi brought some sexy edge to the red carpet in her long black silk cady dress by Julien Macdonald. This collection has become a favorite of stars like Kristen Stewart and Kim Kardashian, however it had yet to make any big award show appearances until now. Heidi can certainly carry the metallic rope trimmed cutout design, but I wish she had worn dark gold shoes as opposed to the crisscross black patent Christian Louboutin pointed toe stilettos she opted for. | continue reading..

MY VERDICT: I figured Katy would probably not take a ostentatious approach to her look last night at the People’s Choice Awards, considering she’s been wearing many elegant dresses lately.  That being said, I can’t get over how much this floral embroidered long-sleeve Valentino dress aged her.  Had she modified it by removing the sleeves, leaving her hair out and a funkier shoe–it might have been a bit more youthful.  Instead, Katy wore her hair up in a woven style with a gold Jennifer Behr headpiece.  Don’t get me wrong, I don’t think she looked terrible–I just don’t think this look works for her.

MY VERDICT: The beautiful Sandra was presented with the “Humanitarian Award” during the Peoples’ Choice Awards ceremony last night, and gave a beautiful speech that you should definitely YouTube if you missed it.  The “Blind Side” actress accepted her award while wearing an outfit by Vera Wang; a Spring 2013 blue and black floral lace single shoulder top that was paired with a high waist pinstripe skirt. To be honest, I don’t really care for skirt. It’s appropriate for her, don’t get me wrong—I just don’t like the striped effect. The top was really pretty though, and I think it’s kind of fun that she added pops of hot pink at the top and bottom of her look with a lipstick to match her suede Jimmy Choo “Anouk” pumps. | continue reading..
