MY VERDICT: Jennifer passed on the red carpet, but we got a clear view of her chosen outfit when she accepted an award during the PCAs ceremony.  The 43-year-old actress rocked a little black leather Christian Dior dress, a modified non-presented look from the Resort 2013 collection.  I’m completely unsurprised by Jen’s choice as she rarely ever strays from a black or black-and-white ensemble.  With her signature layered tresses in sleek strands, she completed her look with Tom Ford black sandals with a crystal encrusted heel. MY VERDICT: Ashley was probably one of the best dressed stars at the People’s Choice Awards, for me. The “Awkward” actress looked anything but in her beautiful blush beaded Aidan Mattox long dress that sparkled as she walked the red carpet. The color is beautiful, but it’s the shimmering beaded embellishments and the tucked waist that really captivate. Ashley completed her look with a metallic manicure, complimenting makeup, long cascading curls and a pair of Brian Atwood nude platform “Hamper” pumps, which gave her a little boost to battle with her floor-length fabric. | continue reading..

MY VERDICT: Julianne left me starry eyed and mesmerized when she debuted her Tony Ward Couture Fall 2012 cocktail dress on the red carpet last night.  This midnight blue creation was delicately embroidered with a plethora of dazzling shaded tone sequins in a ombré effect of silver and blues. Her dress, which was completed with a navy silk organza sash to match her cap sleeves, looked like a constellation.  | continue reading..

WHO: Morena Baccarin

MY VERDICT: The “Homeland” star was fashion-forward and outright fabulous in her Donna Karan Atelier jumpsuit. Morena’s sassy one-piece featured a smoky white stone encrusted strapless corset separated by a draped sash that fell over the hip above silk crepe loose pants. Because of the long hem, Morena wore white platform sandals that were both complimenting and non-distracting. She wore her jet black tresses swept back to show off her toned, bare shoulders before finishing off with a raspberry pink lip and diamond cluster ear cuffs.

Morena is also carrying a “Deluxe” clutch in gold, silver and white crystal face by Swarovski.

WHO: Liam Hemsworth

WEARING: Ermenegildo Zegna suit, Chris Aire cufflinks

MY VERDICT: Liam may just be one of top best dressed stars of the night at the PCAs. As soon as that camera panned to him in the audience before “The Hunger Games” won best movie, I knew he would be.  Seriously.  Can we talk about the rich and delicious maroon shade of the Zegna suit he wore?  To top it all off, Liam sharply paired it with a black shirt and tie and a red polka dot printed black satin pocket square. Too good—I love it! This actually topped his printed jacket suit for me. When it comes down to it, this was simply really good styling that Liam pulled off effortlessly. When you know what works, run with it.

WHO: Ian Somerhalder

WEARING: Dior Homme

MY VERDICT: Ian hit the red carpet solo since Nina Dobrev, his costar and off-screen love, wasn’t able to make it out the ceremony. The incredibly handsome star of “The Vampire Diaries” looked fantastic in a full Dior Homme look.  A black silk tuxedo jacket with a white shirt and black skinny tie isn’t something new, but that didn’t stop Ian from looking sinfully dashing.  I’m not just saying that because he looks good in everything.  Even though he does. I will say that I dig the fact that he toned the look down by finishing off with black jeans as opposed to dress pants.

MY VERDICT: Jennifer was a highly anticipated PCA attendee, but she skipped the red carpet.  Thankfully we didn’t have to wait long for the cameras to pan to the starlet in the audience, nor for her to take to the stage to accept her award for her role as Katniss Everdeen in “The Hunger Games”.  | continue reading..
