WHO: Olivia Wilde
WHERE & WHEN: “The Incredible Burt Wonderstone” Hollywood premiere on March 11, 2013.
WEARING: Gucci dress; Charlotte Olympia shoes

MY VERDICT: After a quick trip to the 2013 SXSW Festival in Texas to promote two movies, Olivia returned to Hollywood where she attended the red carpet premiere of “The Incredible Burt Wonderstone”.  The 29-year-old actress kept it semi-casual in black and white stripes over the weekend only to spiced things up in a sexy open back Gucci black tulle netted gown fully embroidered with sequins, which is also enriched with a detailed macramé neckline and comes from the Pre-Fall 2013 collection.

I had been a fan of this dress and wanted to see it during awards season earlier this year, but sometimes things work out for the best because Olivia looks amazing in it!  I’m in love with the sexy and sleek design–she simply glitters. | continue reading..

WHO: Olivia Wilde
WHERE & WHEN: “Drinking Buddies” 2013 SXSW Music – Film + Interactive Festival Premiere on March 9, 2013.
WEARING: L’Wren Scott dress, Sergio Rossi shoes & Irene Neuwirth jewelry.

MY VERDICT: After rocking cool stripes the previous night, Olivia was back for another round of SXSW festivities when she joined Anna Kendrick at the premiere of their new film “Drinking Buddies”.  Olivia played with color this time around thanks to a funky Resort 2013 raspberry pink and black contrast collared dress by L’Wren Scott that she amplified with bright green sandals.  She’s wearing the “Cachet” slingback by Sergio Rossi.

WHO: Olivia Wilde
WHERE & WHEN: “The Incredible Burt Wonderstone” 2013 SXSW Music – Film + Interactive Festival Premiere on March 8, 2013.
WEARING: Dolce & Gabbana dress, Jimmy Choo shoes & Irene Neuwirth jewelry.

MY VERDICT: Olivia tried out one of the spring’s hottest trends when she took to the red carpet for the SXSW 2013 premiere of “The Incredible Burt Wonderstone”.  The 29-year-old rocked bold black and white stripes with this textured midi dress by Dolce & Gabbana.  We recently saw Zoe Saldana test the pattern out in green at the Indie Spirit Awards last month, but I have to say that I’m partial to the thick strap light silhouette that Olivia selected. | continue reading..

WHO: Olivia Wilde
WHERE & WHEN: Revlon Luxurious ColorSilk Buttercream Launch on February 7, 2013.
WEARING: Talbot Runhof dress, Nicholas Kirkwood shoes

MY VERDICT: Olivia struck a sultry pose as she hosted the launch of the new Revlon Luxurious ColorSilk Buttercream line wearing the sexiest little black leather and lace dress from Talbot Runhof.  The “People Like Us” actress selected the knee length cocktail dress with a v-neck and short sleeves from the Resort 2013 collection.  You may remember seeing this design pop up on one of my wish lists, so you can best believe I’ve been a fan of it for awhile.  I think Olivia looks fabulous in the sleek silhouette, and I’m glad she left her layered locks in softly swept waves to keep the dress as the focal point—well, other than her pretty face. | continue reading..

Last night was the biggest concert of the year, or maybe ever, when legendary artists and some of today’s top stars in music performed during the “12-12-12″ concert, which benefited The Robin Hood Relief Fund to aid the victims of Hurricane Sandy.  Olivia Wilde took the stage at Madison Square Garden alongside Sean “Diddy” Combs to talk about the way people pulled together to evacuate patients from hospitals when the devastating super storm hit New York and New Jersey area in late October.

Olivia kept her look pretty casual for the event with a black leather jacket and coated jeans. This isn’t far from a typical cool concert look, so I was glad that Olivia kept her outfit relatively ‘normal’ for the event. Her cute cropped asymmetric motorcycle jacket, worn over a long black tee, is by Illia and her high-rise skinny jeans are the “Eve” by Habitual in Coated Licorice. | continue reading..

I’m totally loving Olivia Wilde right now for breaking out one of my favorite A.L.C. designs on the red carpet last night for the New York screening of “Django Unchained”, which was held at the legendary Ziegfeld Theater.

The 28-year-old actress stepped out in the sexy black plunging v-neck “Theodore” tailored jumpsuit from the Fall 2012 collection, which featured subtle notches at the shoulders, a banded waist and slim fit trousers ($695, bergdorfgoodman.com). I’m totally obsessed with this jumper, and I’m glad she only enhanced my interest in the silhouette rather than disrupting it with an ill fit.

This was a perfect fit. | continue reading..

Olivia Wilde joined her costar Kate Mara last night for the Hollywood premiere of their new movie “Deadfall” at ArcLight Cinemas.

The 28-year-old actress arrived wearing a gold embroidered off-white cardigan and matching pencil skirt from L’Wren Scott‘s Spring 2013 collection. It’s certainly a lovely choice for Olivia, but I’m a bit surprised she selected it for her premiere as it’s a bit more casual than the typical red carpet look. | continue reading..

Olivia Wilde in Dolce & Gabanna | 2012 Museum of Natural History Gala

Olivia Wilde got dolled up for a night out with her boyfriend Jason Sudeikis. The pair attended the 2012 Museum of Natural History Gala at American Museum of Natural History on Thursday night where Olivia dazzled in a Dolce & Gabbana gown.

The “Butter” actress stepped out for the gala wearing a strapless lace combo trumpet gown, but the delicate floral embroidered fabric didn’t fall to the end of the dress as pleated solid silk continued on to create a nice mermaid train. This was such an elegant choice for her, and it fit her svelte body like a glove.

Olivia completed her look with a black satin clutch and diamond earrings by Cartier; as for the rest of her jewelry? All House of Lavande. She wore her short dark tresses up before topping it all off with smoky ‘cat eyes’ and nude lips.

Did you like Olivia’s gown for the soirèe?

Olivia Wilde joined Julianne Moore at the 16th annual ACE Awards in New York City tonight where she too selected a dress from the Calvin KleinSpring/Summer 2013 collection!

Though I ran hot-and-cold with Julianne’s dress choice, I couldn’t help but love the design Olivia selected to hit the red carpet with. The 28-year-old wore Look 14; a lovely mid-length ice white silk sleeveless cocktail dress with sheer layering along with solid split paneling at the bodice and a illusion peplum at the flared skirt. | continue reading..

GLOBAL CITIZEN FESTIVAL: Celebrities Gather in Central Park to End Extreme Proverty

GLOBAL CITIZEN FESTIVAL: Celebrities Gather in Central Park to End Extreme ProvertyPhotos: Zimbio
The stars came out to Central Park in New York City this past weekend to help end extreme poverty at the 2012 Global Gitizen Festival. Olivia Wilde was joined by actors Sophia Bush, Michelle Trachtenberg, Katharine McPhee, Selena Gomez and Colin Hanks, and while the main focus of the day was helping others — that didn’t mean we couldn’t help ourselves at checking out the stylish outfits our favorite stars wore.

SOPHIA BUSH: The “Partners” actress showed a little bit of leg in her black AllSaints pencil-cut “Jodhpur” skirt that she paired with a sleeveless vintage graphic t-shirt, a LuLu Frost diamond short necklace and platform black sandals from Pollini. Sophia kept her daytime look quite chic with a high sleek ponytail and a metallic cuff to top it all off.

MICHELLE TRACHTENBERG: Playing with layers, the “Gossip Girl” star rocked two dark tees, a pair of midnight blue jeggings and brown leather fold-over ankle boots that she partnered with a cool dark green BIRD by Juicy Couture leather biker jacket. Michelle finished off with a high ponytail, oversize sunglasses and a gold chain necklace. | continue reading..
