As if I would really pass on posting about one of my favorite girls!

The one and only Miss Piggy hit the red carpet with her main frog Kermit (wearing Brooks Brothers) on Sunday night for the 84th Annual Academy Awards. Because she’s the most glamorous piglet in all of Hollywood, Miss Piggy’s dear friend Zac Posen custom made a shimmering champagne gown just for her to wear on Oscar night.

The dress featured a plunging neckline that twisted under her ‘bust’ and had draping details at her ‘hips’.

She completed her look with a bumped up ‘do that would put Snooki to shame, long white evening gloves, and lots and lots of diamonds — courtesy of Fred Leighton.

Like Meryl Streep, “The Artist” star Missi Pyle also attended the 2012 Oscars wearing an Eco-couture gown.

The 39-year-old actress arrived on the red carpet wearing a mineral-dyed aqua trumpet gown designed by Valentino Delfino. It was made using cruelty-free silkworms! Valentino was the winner of Suzy Amis Cameron’s “Red Carpet Green Fashion” designer competition and hand pleated this trumpet gown for Missi to wear for the big night.

The lining of her dress was also created using recycled polyester. | continue reading..

Rose Byrne was looking beautiful as ever when she arrived on the red carpet at Hollywood & Highland Center this past Sunday night for the 84th Annual Academy Awards.

The “Bridesmaids” star looked ultra-glam in a one shoulder black sequined couture gown by Vivienne Westwood.

Ah, Ms. Westwood is so hot this month on the red carpet. I feel like I’ve seen someone in a VW dress every night! | continue reading..

Amara Miller in Valentino Couture | 2012 Oscars

Amara Miller, the 11-year-old actress from “The Descendants” who played George Clooney’s daughter, had many talking about the fact that she scored a Valentino haute couture gown for the 2012 Oscars.

Lucky gal.

The young actress posed with her co-star Nick Krause at the Hollywood & Highland Center while wearing a bead-embroidered strapless gown with attached organza billowing sleeves that tapered at the wrist.

Amara looked pretty in the dress, but I think the sleeves were too mature for her. If probably would have been a bit more age appropriate if they had been cap-sleeves.

My biggest problem with the look would be her hair! Is it up or is it down? It’s too confusing.

She needed a slightly pulled half-up/half-down look or a ponytail.

“Modern Family” actress Sarah Hyland took her trip down the red carpet for Sunday night’s 84th Annual Academy Awards at Hollywood & Highland Center in a mauve gown.

The 21-year-old actress opted for a soft chiffon gown by Alberta Ferretti with draping at the waist and a single draped sleeve.

This was a pretty dress on her, and I like that she didn’t go heavy on accessories.

Sarah completed her look with a chignon hairstyle that featured face-framing stray pieces.

Access Hollywood corespondent, and author, Shaun Robinson hit the red carpet glowing in gold for the 2012 Oscars this past Sunday night.

Shaun awaited the movie star arrivals at the Hollywood & Highland Center wearing a liquid gold halterneck gown, with ruched detail at the waist, from the Fall/Winter 2011 Evening Wear collection by Romona Keveza. I wish I had some great back shots of Shaun to show off the dramatic train on the gown, but thankfully, this lookbook photo from Romona’s website gives a good view. | continue reading..

Giuliana Rancic was one of the first ladies on the red carpet Sunday night for “the biggest night in film” — the 84th Annual Academy Awards. The “E! Fashion Police” co-host arrived at the Hollywood & Highland Center in great spirits wearing a couture gown by Tony Ward.

She’s been on every red carpet this awards season which has had to be trying considering she recently underwent treatment for breast cancer. With that said, she looked happy and fabulous in this beaded metallic cap-sleeve gown from Tony’s Spring/Summer 2012 collection. | continue reading..

Busy Phillips was ever the supportive best friend as she joined, her Oscar-nominated gal pal, Michelle Williams as her date for the 84th Annual Academy Awards Sunday night.

The 32-year-old actress left her long blonde tresses out and smooth to drape over her bare shoulders as she wore a grey lace bustier gown by Dolce & Gabbana. I’ve seen this dress on so many actresses over the year! While it’s a pretty dress, I just wish she had worn a different color to spice things up a bit. | continue reading..

Maria Menounos, ”Extra TV”s red carpet correspondent,  awaited the arrivals for the 84th Annual Academy Awards Sunday night with at the Hollywood & Highland Center in a gorgeous mint green gown.

The 33-year-old looked lovely in her dramatic silk mousseline gown with a gliding train by Maria Lucia Hohan. The draping bust had wide straps in a halter-neck style, but if Maria wanted too — she could have draped the straps over her arms and turned them into sleeves! | continue reading..

Milla Jovovich wasn’t the only lady giving old Hollywood glamor last night on the Oscars red carpet!

“Nero Fiddled” star, Penelope Cruz arrived at the Hollywood & Highland Center in a smoked blue organza gown, with off-the-shoulder straps and a fitted bodice, that was custom designed for her by Giorgio Armani.

I loved the color; it looked creamy and lush against Penelope’s complexion and stood out amongst the other dresses on the red carpet. | continue reading..
