Busy Philipps proudly displayed her growing belly in a custom made Gabriela Cadena navy blue long sleeve silk dress.  The “Cougar Town” actress, who recently announced her second pregnancy added some boldness to her look with a colorful one-of-a-kind Irene Neuwirth statement necklace and a matching embellished clutch by Judith Leiber.  A scarlet red lip, gathered mane and Brian Atwood “Stearling” shoes were the finishing touches.

Alexis Bledel like Jessica Pare, the 31-year-old actress also opted to wear a brilliant shade of emerald green at the SAGs this year. I love the color and pleated detailing of her structured Rena Lange dress, and the way her beautiful vintage House of Lavende colorful crystal necklace sat amongst the deep v-neckline. During a very busy press tour for the final “Twilight” film, Elizabeth Reaser and Peter Facinelli took some time out of a day of junket interviews for a fun appearance on “The Ellen Show” last month to chat with the comedian host about “Breaking Dawn – Part 2″—and dance, of course. Their costars Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner had also been guests.

Earlier this month, after gracing the black carpet in a whimsical pink gown for her arrival at the Hollywood premiere of “The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 2″, Ashley Greene was spotted mingling with her costars Peter Facinelli and Gil Birmingham at the after party wearing a white dress with crystal embellishments.

The 25-year-old actress flaunted her curves in a silk sleeveless cocktail dress by Antonio Berardi, which featured a plunging v-neck opening that showcased an attached crystal-embroidered sweetheart bandeau with a tiny peekaboo cutout beneath it.

I wish I could see the dress in full; I imagine it’s knee-length, but considering it’s an off-runway piece that I’m only now seeing for the first time, it could graze the floor. This seems like a nice choice for her, so I’m bothered that it didn’t get enough attention.

Peter Facinelli was fall ready and totally dapper late last week when he stepped out for the New York City screening for “The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 2″, his final premiere event to celebrate the incredibly successful vampire movie series, which has been a major part of his life and career for the last five years. What a whirlwind!

The 38-year-old actor, who plays Carlisle Cullen—the patriarch member of the on-screen vampire family, wore a dark smoked grey Giorgio Armani single-button suit with peaked lapels and flap front pockets and matching slim fit trousers.
Peter wore a classic white dress shirt, but he dressed this look up with a beautiful navy silk-satin tie with dark bronze diagonal stripes and a luxurious grey scarf wore as a nice shawl beneath his jacket.

He complimented the tones in the tie with a brown leather belt and matching suede lace-up shoes.

I loved this look on him; it was even better than his Hollywood premiere look. It actually kind of reminded me of what Peter wore to the premiere in LA last year for “Breaking Dawn – Part 1″. He must really love the scarf look; I can dig it.

Now that we’ve checked in with some of the lovely ladies at the Hollywood premiere of “The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 2″, it’s only fair that we dissect the many different suits worn on the black carpet at the Nokia Theatre L.A. Live from all the big screen vampires (and some wolves!) that were lurking about last week. I spied dark and colorful suits, sneakers, a few waistcoats…and leopard print?

You know and love him as Carlisle Cullen, the handsome head of the beloved vampire family, but Peter Facinelli hung up his alter ego’s choice of a sweater vest and opted for a sharp suit to wear at the “Breaking Dawn – Part 2″ LA premiere. Peter hit the black carpet in a two-button, notched lapel black suit by Hugo Boss that he partnered with a white dress shirt and a burgundy silk-satin tie with diagonal complimenting white stripes. He completed his classic look with black leather dress shoes.

It’s been awhile since we’ve seen Edi Gathegi at a “Twilight” premiere, but the former on-screen vamp returned to support his old costars for the grand finale of the saga. Edi kept it classic and suave in a Anthony Franco black two piece suit with a leather shawl lapel. A white shirt, black skinny satin tie and classic patent lace-up dress shoes completed his look.

It was a big year for movies, especially two mega franchises — “Harry Potter” and “Twilight”. While the wizards concluded their story during the summer, it was the vampires who took over in the fall in the most stylish way. The cast of “The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 1″ hit the promotional trail in late October heavily to promote the first installment of the finale to the blockbuster hit clad in designer looks by major fashion houses such as Gucci, Givenchy, J. Mendel, Donna Karan, Alexander McQueen and Dolce & Gabbana.

While some stars stayed consistently stylish, some had a rocky road, and others really came into their own. Here are some of my favorite looks Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson, Ashley Greene, Nikki Reed, Taylor Lautner, and the rest of the vampy gang globally rocked.

These were my favorite looks from both Ashley Greene and Nikki Reed during the tour. The avant-garde black and white cutaway Donna Karan design that Ashley donned at the NYC premiere of the film was so interesting. Every angle showed off the dress in a different light — and they were all good. Nikki echoed her choice of a vibrant cutout look with an acid green halter gown by Michael Kors that was trimmed in black and cutaway at both sides of her stomach.

Both ladies accessorized brilliantly, but it was Nikki who had me boiling with a major case of ‘shoe envy’ over her caged platform Giuseppe Zanotti boots. | continue reading..

It’s been a little while since the “Twilight” cast wrapped their global promotional tour for “The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 1″ — but it’s never too late to talk about their promo style. One of its stars, Ashley Greene, was one busiest bees during the press tour. I bet she wished for the vampire speed and the ability to stay energized as she jet-setted all over the world..

While promoting in Paris during late October, Ashley was spotted wearing a sleeveless version of this graphic tweed dress from the Resort 2012 collection by Giambattista Valli. It would have been great to see a full body shot of her in this to get a look at the fit; this was probably a great dress for her because I like what I see so far. Even though promo for “The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 1″ is now over, it doesn’t mean we still can’t have fun with the cool clothes that the cast rocked while promoting the movie this month.

On November 18th fans were treated to a joint interview with the stars Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart, and Taylor Lautner when they sat down to chat with Ellen DeGeneres. “ELLEN” was the only talk show that had the entire main cast sit down for an interview on the press tour.

Rob stayed casual in black jeans and a dark blue/grey tee under a grey chambray buttondown shirt that he wore beneath a dark black oil Levi’s classic trucker jacket. He finished off with a pair of cool black leather perforated Converse sneakers. | continue reading..

I swear, the cast of “Twilight” jumps from one side of the country to the next in the blink of an eye.

Ashley Greene and her co-stars have been going non-stop on this massive press tour for “The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 1″. Monday night was the big black carpet premiere in Los Angeles, but last night Ash and co-stars Nikki Reed and Peter Facinelli celebrated the fourth installment of the saga with a NYC screening.

Cinema Society and DKNY hosted the special screening at Landmark Sunshine Cinema last night, and as the new face of DKNY, it was only fitting that Ash’s dress of choice for the evening would  be designed by Donna Karan!

Wow, and what a dress.

Ashley wore a very avant garde asymmetric black and white gown from the Spring/Summer 2012 collection — not seen on the catwalk. This could very easily be a boring one sleeve, crew-neck, floor-length black gown with a high slit — but I love that Donna broke up the design to bring something artsy and fresh. | continue reading..

I was just online working on some posts/minding my own business when a photo of Nikki Reed emerged from the New York screening of “The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 1″ tonight at the Landmark Sunshine Cinema.

My jaw totally dropped… and then I dropped what I was doing.

Nikki attended the Cinema Society & DKNY hosted screening of the movie wearing the to-die-for acid green floor-length dress from the Resort 2012 collection by Michael Kors. Not only was it my number one pick from the collection, but she did it justice by totally working it!

I love the neon color with black trimming against her golden complexion, and the practically backless style that created deep cutouts at the waist. It gave her waist some definition and showed off her toned shoulders. | continue reading..
