Tuesday night was the long-awaited major Versace for H&M fashion show in New York City, and boy was it a fête! Stars like Chloe Moretz, Jessica Alba, Jennifer Hudson, Uma Thurman, Emma Roberts, Selma Blair, and Zoe Kravitz were all in attendance at H&M on the Hudson where the event was being held to celebrate the launch of the exclusive Versace collection at H&M.

After the models walked the wood-panneled runway in Pier 57 wearing looks from the line, guests were treated to performances by Nicki Minaj and Prince! Nicki arrived to the event wearing a custom embellished dress from the collection. | continue reading..

Bar Refaeli was among the star attendees at the 2011 Whitney Museum of American Art Gala in New York City wearing a creation from Marchesa‘s Spring 2012 collection.

The model dazzled in a gorgeous nude embroidered tulle illusion gown. I love the all-over spiral pleated detailing and the peek-a-boo shimmering metallic fabric all throughout the dress.

She kept her make-up light and flawless and pulled her hair back into a delicate chignon with braided detail on the right side. The pièce de résistance for me would most definitely have to be the outstanding embroidered Marchesa clutch Bar carried for the night.

Oh no. Oh no, no, no.

It almost physically hurts me to see Michelle Monaghan in this breathtaking Marchesa silver illusion embroidered dress with cascading tulle detail. Michelle wore the Spring 2012 design to the 2011 Whitney Museum of American Art Gala held at Hudson River Park’s Pier 57 in New York City.

I was literally speechless when I saw this stunning dress sashay down the catwalk during New York Fashion Week last month. It instantly became the dress I crossed my fingers to see during award season.

Michelle just shattered my Marchesa dream. Her stylist had the right idea for selecting the dress as it does fit her and the occasion perfectly, but the way it was worn was obviously out of her hands. Those bangs are blinding her, if I can barely see her eyes — I doubt she can see anything either. It’s time for a trim. The pink lipstick was so wrong.. I can’t even say anything else regarding that. I just can’t.

I do like her Salvatore Ferragamo satin double platform silver sandals, but I think they’re too heavy for the dress. She’s also carrying a Ferragamo stingray minaudiere.
