WHERE & WHEN: 71st Annual Golden Globe Awards on January 12, 2014.
WEARING: Fausto Puglisi dress, Brian Atwood shoes & Ana Khouri jewelry.
MY VERDICT: Rashida did a great job straddling the line between the winter blues and spring florals when she attended the Indie Spirits, but perhaps that’s because she turned to the new Stella McCartney Pre-Fall 2013 collection for their outfit. The “Parks and Recreation” star wore a short sleeve navy blouse and matching a-line skirt with scattered big and bold floral detail in shimmering turquoise and leaf green. I really love the colors and the pattern, but I’m not thrilled with the oversize sleeves.
That being said, I like that Rashida pulled the skirt up higher for more of a flattering fit at the leg. | continue reading..
I love when women stick with what’s comfortable to them, and if that’s a pair of well-fit trousers and a blazer over a dress…than that’s a wise choice to make. This color looked fantastic on Rashida, and I really dig that she didn’t play it safe with her top and shoes just because she went strong on the suit. | continue reading..
The “Celeste and Jesse Forever” actress rocked a little menswear inspired get-up, which included a white collared blouse from the Resort 2013 collection by Marni, with beaded embroidery going down the central closure panel. | continue reading..

Ellie Kemper kept it chic in an ivory Moschino peplum cocktail dress with a ruffled neckline, from the Fall 2011 collection. I really love that she added some color to her look with deep red accessories. She carried a patent clutch with matching pumps before topping it all off with 18k white gold earrings with rubies and diamonds from Katerina Maxine.
“Glee” actress Naya Rivera also opted for a Fall 2011 dress by Moschino; a yellow cream sleeveless shift dress with light pin-tucking at the waist. She also opted for red accessories, including a gold and bordeaux tube clutch that she partnered with velvet open toe platform Tory Burch pumps. Naya’s long dark hair was styled in long luscious curls. | continue reading..
The 36-year-old “Celeste and Jesse Forever” actress worked it in a black leather v-neck contoured cocktail dress by Narciso Rodriguez, which hit at her knees. I could have done without her pairing this with closed toe ankle boots. Despite the fact that they matched and sparkled. | continue reading..
The 36-year-old actress selected the orange, aqua and white v-neck pocket dress from the Resort 2013 collection by Thakoon, which featured a crisscrossing black print throughout. | continue reading..
The 36-year-old actress arrived at the Regal Cinemas L.A. Live in a Fall 2012 dress by Altuzarra, which featured black v-neck bodice, a printed silver pencil cut skirt, and a whimsical coin embellished element at the waist.
Because of the heavy detail, I’m glad Rashida didn’t try to compete with busy shoes — but I also appreciate the fact that she didn’t play it too safe with a pair of pumps.
Rashida wore black “Loila” strappy sandals from Jimmy Choo.
This look was complete with minimal makeup, Isharya jewelry and a wavy mane.
What did you think of Rashida’s premiere look?
