MY VERDICT: Rashida did a great job straddling the line between the winter blues and spring florals when she attended the Indie Spirits, but perhaps that’s because she turned to the new Stella McCartney Pre-Fall 2013 collection for their outfit.  The “Parks and Recreation” star wore a short sleeve navy blouse and matching a-line skirt with scattered big and bold floral detail in shimmering turquoise and leaf green. I really love the colors and the pattern, but I’m not thrilled with the oversize sleeves.

That being said, I like that Rashida pulled the skirt up higher for more of a flattering fit at the leg. | continue reading..

Rashida Jones rocked the red carpet last night in a bold, brightly colored ensemble when she attended the annual Trevor Live! event in Hollywood.  The “Parks and Recreation” star arrived in a vivid blue suit by Cèline, which I’m practically obsessed with all on its own. I mean, seriously, it’s too good.

I love when women stick with what’s comfortable to them, and if that’s a pair of well-fit trousers and a blazer over a dress…than that’s a wise choice to make. This color looked fantastic on Rashida, and I really dig that she didn’t play it safe with her top and shoes just because she went strong on the suit. | continue reading..

It was a quite the swanky affair last night when the Four Seasons Hotel Los Angeles at Beverly Hills quickly filled up with some of the most talented ladies (and fellas) in Tinseltown as they came together to help honor their fellow actors at ELLE Magazine’s annual Women In Hollywood event.

Ellie Kemper kept it chic in an ivory Moschino peplum cocktail dress with a ruffled neckline, from the Fall 2011 collection. I really love that she added some color to her look with deep red accessories. She carried a patent clutch with matching pumps before topping it all off with 18k white gold earrings with rubies and diamonds from Katerina Maxine.

“Glee” actress Naya Rivera also opted for a Fall 2011 dress by Moschino; a yellow cream sleeveless shift dress with light pin-tucking at the waist. She also opted for red accessories, including a gold and bordeaux tube clutch that she partnered with velvet open toe platform Tory Burch pumps. Rashida Jones attended the screening for her new movie “Celeste and Jesse Forever”, held during the 2012 Los Angeles Film Festival, on Thursday wearing an embellished cocktail dress.

The 36-year-old actress arrived at the Regal Cinemas L.A. Live in a Fall 2012 dress by Altuzarra, which featured black v-neck bodice, a printed silver pencil cut skirt, and a whimsical coin embellished element at the waist.

Because of the heavy detail, I’m glad Rashida didn’t try to compete with busy shoes — but I also appreciate the fact that she didn’t play it too safe with a pair of pumps.

Rashida wore black “Loila” strappy sandals from Jimmy Choo.

This look was complete with minimal makeup, Isharya jewelry and a wavy mane.

Designer Stella McCartneystepped out on the hot pink carpet last Thursday for the NSPCC Pop Art Ball in London!

McCartney wore a fun orange, red, yellow and white abstract dress from her Evening Wear 2012 collection that she paired with some black strappy sandals from her collection.

She was joined by actresses Naomi Watts and Rashida Jones — who were donned head-to-toe in her designs.

Naomi selected this asymmetric beige tulle mini dress that was embroidered with a feminine black lace floral design. She left her shoulder-length blonde tresses out and unkempt before putting the finishing touches on with cutout faux leather sandals. | continue reading..

Last Sunday night brought out the stars for The Conversation Launch Celebration at DVF Studio in NYC. The soirée was held in honor of Amanda de Cadnet’s new series on Lifetime.

Malin Akerman was rocking a shimmering Diane von Furstenberg micro gold, sleeveless shift dress. Malin perfectly coordinated her look with the golden heel “Bois Dore” black suede pumps by Christian Louboutin and a black evening bag that was enriched with golden star bursts.
