MY VERDICT: I had a few ideas in mind of what I would’ve liked to have seen Miranda wear at the Grammys as I had grown tired of ill-fitting looks that had been letting her down on the red carpet recently.  She may have worn something that didn’t even cross my mind as a possibilty, but that doesn’t mean I disliked it.  The Country singer looked beautiful in a midnight blue silk-chiffon Roberto Cavalli gown, which featured a plunging neckline and a high thigh slit.  I love the color, and the draping at the waist gave her a bit of a slimming effect as well—what woman doesn’t love that?

Miranda styled her long honey-blonde locks in a pretty partially gathered swept ‘do that allowed for her multicolored geode Kimberly McDonald statement earrings to, well, make a statement.  | continue reading..

MY VERDICT: I think I hyped up my Wish List choices for Carrie so much that when I actually saw what she wore to the Grammys, I was kind of disappointed.  That’s not to say that her strapless Roberto Cavalli gown with a beaded motif pattern and fishtail hem wasn’t beautiful, because it was.  I just set myself up for boldness–for color.  I liked the drama of Carrie’s dress, but the diamond necklace feels out of place. It’s too bright for the fabric and style, therefore I would have rather seen her in darker tone jewelry, you know, more along the lines of what Miley Cyrus rocked a pre-Grammy party. | continue reading..

MY VERDICT: Jordin hit Clive Davis’ annual pre-Grammys bash in a sexy ruched silk teal Roberto Cavalli dress with a high slit in the front and a black sequin trim lace panel inset framing the deep v-neckline.  Jennifer Garner wore this to a premiere of “Argo” late last year, but I have to go #TeamJordin on this one.  I’m such a fan of her in this color!  I think the rich blue-green really flatters Jordin’s complexion and raven hair; it’s a dark color that actually brightens up on her.  A low twisted chignon hairstyle let the lace detail take center stage, while the opening in the skirt allowed for Jordin to show off her black strappy Giuseppe Zanotti sandals.  She finished with smoky eyes, onyx drop earrings and a black crystal-encrusted Alexander McQueen Union Jack minaudière. | continue reading..

MY VERDICT: Hayden was the portrait of youthful beauty last night in her strapless ivory pleated Roberto Cavalli gown.  The “Nashville” starlet is very petite, so I found that the slim silhouette and mini fishtail train were very flattering and didn’t overwhelm her small frame.  With a solid dress like this, she could have gone further with her hair and makeup, but I’m glad Hayden kept it clean and simple. She finished her look with delicate diamond jewelry and a bright purple clutch for an appreciated pop of color.

Hayden Panettiere brightened up the red carpet beautifully last night when she attended the 2012 CMT Artists of the Year event. The “Nashville” actress shared hosting duties with the Country band Rascal Flatts!

For her arrival look, the 23-year-old selected a single-shouldered fuchsia silk pleated Roberto Cavalli gown, which featured a sexy high thigh slit and a cutout split at the neckline; the waist was defined by sequined embellishments.  Normally, I’d find such a goddess of a gown overwhelming on a petite frame like Hayden’s—but, I think she rocked this! | continue reading..

Kellan Lutz and his lady love Sharni Vinson both wore Roberto Cavalli and color coordinated to perfection last night for the Hollywood premiere of “The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 2″.

The 27-year-old actor, who stars as vampire Emmett Cullen in the series, wore a black single-button tuxedo from the Spring 2012 Menswear collection with striking midnight blue satin shawl lapels and accents, which he paired with a black dress shirt and a satin tie that matched the regal color. Karolina Kurkova was working that tuxedo on Thursday night when she hit up Goodman’s 111th anniversary celebration in New York City alongside designer Roberto Cavalli.

The gorgeous model struck a pose in a white-and-blue paisley patterned blazer with black contrast lapels and the matching slim-fit trouser, from Cavalli’s Resort 2013 collection, which she paired with his white mocked neck sheer inset blouse.

After two very successful premiere looks, it appears that red took a backseat when Jennifer Garner selected her gown for the “Argo” premiere in Washington, D.C. last night. Her husband Ben Affleck directed the film in which he also stars.

Jennifer arrived at Regal Gallery Place Stadium 14 wearing a ruched v-neck silk gown by Roberto Cavalli in a rich dark teal with a black lace-and-sequin trim inset at the neckline.

Walking on the side of “less is more”, Jen wore very little make-up and no jewelry — other than her wedding rings. She then completed her look with a center-parted smooth hairstyle that traveled into big bouncy curls at the ends.
