Paula Patton loves to show off her toned legs, and Sunday night the 36-year-old actress joined her husband Robin Thicke at the annual Vanity Fair Oscar Party in a super short dress by Naeem Khan.

After nearly a two month promotional tour for “Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol”, Paula Patton got to kick back and party into the new year with her husband Robin Thicke. The couple rang in 2012 at Diddy’s hosted “CIROC The New Year 2012″.

For the biggest party of the year, Paula Patton slipped into a black silk sleeveless mini dress by Moschino Cheap & Chic with a drapey neckline and completely embellished with gold safety pins.

I had only seen a few pictures of her sitting on Robin’s lap, so I figured the extra short version of this was just hiking up on her thighs from being seated. After an overwhelming global tour to promote the action movie Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol, Paula Patton and her M:I4 co-stars finally brought the film to New York City for a major red carpet premiere tonight.

Paula has had some serious hit or misses for the duration of the ‘Ghost Protocol’ premieres around the world, but I was really hoping we’d have a hit on our hands tonight… and we did!

The beautiful brunette actress was both sparkly and colorful in a stunner of an Emilio Pucci Spring/Summer 2012 dress when she arrived at the Ziegfield Theatre with her husband, singer Robin Thicke. I adore the pink, purple, lime green, peach, and blue patchwork design beneath the beaded sequin embellishments throughout the design. There are also some sparse pale pink ostrich feathers embroidered into the lower half of the mini dress and the long-sleeves.

This is one of my favorite dresses from Pucci’s collection, but it’s also one of the best dresses she wore on the tour. I know there are a slew of fantastic purple shoes she could have worn with this, but thankfully her Christian Louboutin suede “Bambou” pumps didn’t disappoint.
