Hailee Steinfeld made a very cool appearance on the red carpet last night when she arrived for the 14th Annual Young Hollywood Awards in a badass outfit by Prabal Gurung.

While many opted for the standard pretty cocktail dress, the 15-year-old “Romeo and Juliet” actress rocked a sleeveless shimmering white top, with a golden burst of floral embroidery, and matching flared trousers from Gurung’s Fall 2012 collection.

It was young, hip, fresh and totally loved by me — and many others, I’m sure.

Hailee Steinfeld was among the celebrity attendees tonight at the British Fashion Council London Show Rooms initiative cocktail party which was held at SkyBar at the Mondrian Los Angeles. Hailee donned a striking floral contrast sleeveless dress by Mary Katrantzou from the designer’s recently debuted Spring/Sumer 2012 collection.

The “Romeo and Juliet” actress looked as pretty as ever in the dress which she paired with patent platform pumps and styled her super long brunette locks in a high ponytail.

How cute would a pair of strappy aqua, purple or orange sandals have been?
