Kaley Cuoco in Romona Keveza | 2013 SAG Awards

Kaley Cuoco in Romona Keveza | 2013 SAG AwardsPhotos: Zimbio; Romona Keveza
WHO: Kaley Cuoco
WHERE & WHEN: 19th Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards on January 27, 2013.
WEARING: Romona Keveza dress, Giuseppe Zanotti shoes, Judith Leiber clutch & Martin Katz Fine Jewelry.

MY VERDICT: Kaley took a break from pastel colors at the SAG Awards this year and opted for a scarlet red strapless dress from the Spring 2013 collection by Romona Keveza. The ladylike waltz-length design featured all over Soutach lace embroidery and a sculpted bodice. I don’t think there’s any doubt that this is a beautiful dress, but I have to wonder where Kaley’s legs went. I wish the length had been shortened to accommodate her height a little better, because from this head-on angle, all you see are the tips of her toes—she looks so tiny. As for her hair, I dig that she tried to change it up, but I think the blunt bangs might be too heavy for her face shape. Kaley’s makeup gets an A+, and I really liked the accessorizing of delicate diamonds, a ruby embellished gold minaudière and red satin pumps.

Selita Ebanks in Romona Keveza | UNICEF Snowflake Ball 2012

Selita Ebanks stunned in a red gown on the blue carpet when she attended the 2012 UNICEF Snowflake Ball. The gorgeous 29-year-old model wore a fluttering Romona Keveza strapless silk organza and silk crepe gown with an asymmetric bodice, from the designer’s Fall/Winter 2012 evening collection.

The vivid red popped against Selita’s rich complexion and I adore the one tone darker shade of her glossy ruby lipstick. Although Selita had prominent bronze eye make-up, it didn’t overpower nor compete with her pout. | continue reading..

Kimberly Williams-Paisley in Romona Keveza | CMA Awards 2012

Kimberly Williams-Paisley wore a luminous metallic gown when she presented at the 46th annual CMA Awards last night. Her husband, Country singer Brad Paisley, co-hosted the ceremony alongside Carrie Underwood.

The “Nashville” actress took the stage with her costars Connie Britton and Hayden Panettiere while donned in a Fall 2012 strapless bronze metallic silk gown by Romona Keveza with a sweetheart bodice, draped skirt and a sexy thigh-high slit.

I liked the violet contrast Kimberly brought to the look with her bag and jewelry–but, I feel like her shoes brought the look to a halt. | continue reading..

I just love the shade of midnight blue that Krysten Ritter wore last night at the ELLE 19th annual Women in Hollywood gala, held at the Four Seasons Hotel Los Angeles at Beverly Hills.

The “Don’t Trust the B—” actress rocked a sexy bustier cocktail knee-length dress from the Fall/Winter 2012 collection by Romona Keveza. The dress is such a cool design, but the silhouette was also really great for her figure. | continue reading..

2012 Primetime Emmy Awards: Fashion Round-Up

2012 Primetime Emmy Awards: Fashion Round-UpL-R: Morena Baccarin, Glenn Close, Gretchen Mol & Melissa McCarthy. | Photos: Zimbio
Morena Baccarin: The “Homeland” actress rocked a plunging neck strapless grey dress with pleating at the bust and hips. I thought she pushed the risk of a “wardrobe malfunction”, but thankfully Morena had an illusion inset within the v-neck opening. Red lips, bold diamond jewelry and a pewter minaudière were the finishing touches to Morena’s Emmys look.

Glenn Close: After completely falling in love with Glenn’s look at the Oscars this year, I was excited to see what she would wear to the Emmys. The “Damages” actress wore a Bibhu Mohapatra printed long-sleeve mermaid gown with black sheer draped panels at the skirt and all over sharp details layered throughout the rest. I may have felt differently about the dress on someone else, but it did absolutely nothing for me on Glenn. She accessorized with a pair of satin “Anya” sandals by Dana Davis.

Gretchen Mol: Unless you’re wearing black (or black-and-white), you run a risk wearing a monochrome look on the red carpet. At least if it’s all the same shade of one color. I’m surprised with how much I loved what Gretchen wore. | continue reading..

The Primetime Emmys are officially less than a week away!

Consider this week as the “road to the biggest night in television” as there are bound to be several parties and events to prepare us all for this upcoming weekend. This past Sunday kicked it all off when the red carpet rolled out at Nokia Theatre L.A. Live for The Academy of Television Arts & Sciences Creative Arts Emmy Awards.

Let’s take a look at what everyone wore, shall we?

Maya Rudolph kept it short and sassy in a black lace cocktail dress by Dolce & Gabbana. The “Up All Night” actress styled her long hair in glamorous curls before finishing off her look with diamond jewelry and a pair of black and gold peep toe platform pumps. It was pretty classic overall, so while Maya played it safe — she also pulled it off. | continue reading..

Zooey Deschanel seemed to have some competition when it came to who was the best dressed lady in red at Monday night’s Critics’ Choice Television Awards.

“Southland” actress Regina King arrived at the Beverly Hilton Hotel for the ceremony wearing a sexy asymmetric, scarlet lace cocktail dress, from the Spring 2012 collection, by Romona Keveza with a grosgrain ribbon belt.

This dress showcased Regina’s toned shoulders and trim physique. | continue reading..

Elle Macpherson worked the red carpet like the pro she is when she attended the White House Correspondents’ dinner in Washington, D.C. over the weekend.

The supermodel kept her elegant look classic in all-black as she donned a glamorous Romona Keveza strapless silk organza and silk crepe gown. This stunning Fall 2012 design features an architecturally draped bodice connected to an asymmetric peplum skirt and a high front slit.

When asked about her dress upon her arrival, Elle gushed its beauty and mentioned that it was the first time she had gotten to wear a dress by Keveza. Well, I certainly hope it isn’t the last time.

She completed her look with black heels adorned with crystal accents, diamond jewels and a sparkling black clutch.

Shaun Robinson in Romona Keveza | 2012 Oscars

Access Hollywood corespondent, and author, Shaun Robinson hit the red carpet glowing in gold for the 2012 Oscars this past Sunday night.

Shaun awaited the movie star arrivals at the Hollywood & Highland Center wearing a liquid gold halterneck gown, with ruched detail at the waist, from the Fall/Winter 2011 Evening Wear collection by Romona Keveza. I wish I had some great back shots of Shaun to show off the dramatic train on the gown, but thankfully, this lookbook photo from Romona’s website gives a good view. | continue reading..
