Carrie Underwood arrived at the 45th Annual CMA Awards on Wednesday night in Nashville, Tennessee looking gorgeous in a Reem Acra gold gown. It was stunning and it fit her fabulously…but she didn’t have it on long.

The minute she stepped off the red carpet and entered the Bridgestone Arena to prepare for her hosting duties, Carrie was already stepping into a whole other look. It was the first of ten that she would wear for the duration of the show.

For one of her first looks, Carrie wore a Georges Chakra asymmetric metallic embellished coral dress featuring a dragging chiffon train on the side. This was an interesting piece on the model featured during the Spring/Summer 2011 Haute Couture presentations, but it looked way too big on Carrie. The whole design of the dress was kind of lost on her, it appeared to be two sizes bigger than what she should be wearing.

During a segment involving…dolls, Carrie wore a layered asymmetric white embellished cocktail dress from the Fall/Winter 2009 Haute Couture collection by Cengiz Abazoğlu. It sort of looked like she was wrapped in a very expensive napkin. Oddly, I like it. It was a huge night for country music at the Bridgestone Arena last night in Nashville, Tennesse as the 45th Annual CMA Awards was in full effect.

It was a night of music and winners (and losers) — on stage and on the red carpet.

Miranda Lambert arrived with husband Blake Shelton (who was donned in a Zegna suit) wearing a strapless black gown that was custom made for her by Haute Hippie. The dress featured a sweetheart neckline and lots of crystal embellishments. It clustered at the bodice before scattering down the dress.

Miranda didn’t wear a necklace, but she obviously wasn’t low on glitz. She wore diamond drop earrings, rings, and a Jimmy Choo crystal embellished silver clutch by. Her hair was up and high in a glam up-’do.

Reba McEntire was also in a custom dress…her own design! Reba collaborted with Terry Gordon on this dark green velvet gown with a crystal embellished attached sleeveless shoulder capelet. It was an interesting look…definitely something only Reba could wear. I’m not sure this would fly on Taylor Swift.

While Reba let stray pieces fly from her pretty up ‘do — her bangs were swept and on full display.
