MY VERDICT: She may toughen up in a movie about crime and fast cars, but Gina was all elegance when she hit the red carpet for the Hollywood premiere of “Fast & Furious 6″ wearing a beautiful Amanda Wakeley gown. The 31-year-old actress selected the white mist v-neck cap sleeve gown from Wakeley’s Autumn/Winter 2013-2014 Atelier collection with hand beaded gunmetal embellishments at the shoulders, bodice center, and small waist peplums. MY VERDICT: How beautiful does Nina look in blue? The 24-year-old “Vampire Diaries” actress posed on the black carpet at the New York 2013 Upfront presentation for the CW Network wearing a slim-fitting sky blue Versace sheath dress with cool black-bordered grommet detailing separating the design; the two pieces stayed linked together by silver rings. It’s such a small element, but makes quite an impact on an otherwise classic silhouette.

This is the second Versace dress we’ve seen Nina wear this month, but it’s my favorite as it flattered her lean figure while the color highlighted sun-kissed skin. Nina was also clearly having a great hair day with layered locks were styled in full shiny waves. | continue reading..

MY VERDICT: I was apprehensive as to whether or not Nina could out-do her black and gold gown from last year, but boy was I blown away by the direction she took tonight. The “Vampire Diaries” actress properly balanced punk and glam to live up to the “Chaos to Couture” theme. Nina rocked the red carpet in a custom-made Monique Lhuillier black Chantilly lace molded bustier jumpsuit with black leather harness tulle overskirt with horsehair trim. MY VERDICT: Nina was quite the golden girl on the black carpet for the New York premiere of “The Great Gatsby”. The 24-year-old actress stunned in a black Versace cocktail dress with all-over gold studded embellishing that created a beautiful mosaic pattern on both the front and back of the frock. The knee length slim fit flattered Nina’s long, lean figure while balancing out with a gold pair of “Elba” pumps from Rupert Sanderson. | continue reading..

MY VERDICT: Anna sported some spring time style as she supported her “Pitch Perfect” costars. The 30-year-old actress wore a form-fitting white bandage Herve Leger by Max Azria dress, from the Spring 2013 collection. Anna added a fun pop of color to the bright frock by accessorizing with a long coral clutch and matching pointed toe “Elba” pumps by Rupert Sanderson–both complimented her pink nail lacquer. | continue reading..

MY VERDICT: Amanda was missing on the red carpet, but the “Les Misérables” star took the stage during the show to present an award with Steve Carrell. The 27-year-old actress took baby steps with the popular lace illusion trend by rocking a long-sleeve nude Three Floor mini dress with strategically placed China Blue lace embroidery. Striped panels along the arms, borders and center were lined with black detail.

The dress is also available with black lace, which I prefer, but I think the blue was a better option for Amanda. | continue reading..

MY VERDICT: Finishing out the U.S. leg of the press tour for her new sci-fi movie “The Host”, Saoirse made an appearance on the late night talk show “Jimmy Kimmel Live”. The 18-year-old actress looked fantastic in a sleek black OSMAN by Osman Yousefzada jumpsuit that features an asymmetric sleeveless bodice with leather inset panel. Saoirse has officially joined the list of stylish ladies—including Beyoncé, Kristen Stewart, Selena Gomez, and her costar Diane Kruger, who have taken an immediate liking to the British designer’s eclectic eye for detail.

MY VERDICT: Katie was one of my favorite dressed stars at the Indie Spirit Awards.  The “Black Rock” actress wore a Wes Gordon Chantilly lace and silk tulle embroidered dress from the designer’s Fall 2012 collection.  I love the dark, almost dangerous, feel to the feminine floral lace pattern along with the loose fit with drop-waist layering. It just seemed so effortless and comfortable, and I dig the way Katie accessorized with pewter strappy t-strap “Teoni” sandals by Rupert Sanderson to lighten the dark tone while simultaneously showing off her midnight manicure.  She completed her look with a high bun and smoky eyes. | continue reading..

MY VERDICT: Aubrey looked beautifully ready for the spring in her pretty Valentino dress at the Indie Spirit Awards!  The “Parks and Recreation” star arrived on the pink carpet wearing an adorable lightweight ivory dress with colorful sequin flower embroidery all over. I’m such a fan of the vibrant colors used, and how Aubrey complimented them by pulling from the coral-red detail when selecting her footwear. She wore a matching pair of patent “Elba” pumps by Rupert Sanderson, and then finished off the look by twisting her short brunette tresses up and accessorizing with a beautiful multicolored diamond statement ring.

WHERE & WHEN: Vanity Fair Campaign Hollywood 2013 on February 19, 2013.

MY VERDICT: Chloe pulled out her best LBD for the Vanity Fair party when she selected this long sleeve silk dress from the Pre-Fall 2013 collection by Christian Dior.  The fit-and-flare design featured a cropped top effect over a high-waisted full skirt adorned by a delicate thin bow belt.  Of all the Dior dresses the newly  turned 16-year-old could have worn, it’s nice to see that she opted for one of the most youthful.  This sophisticated party ensemble suited Chloe very well. They work fine, but I kind of wish the “Carrie” starlet had passed on the classic nude pointed toe pumps in favor of some skinny strap black sandals.  She polished it all off with swept waves, smouldering smoky eyes, and a perfect nude pout. | continue reading..
