MY VERDICT: PYou can always count on Bella Thorne to have fun with her red carpet look. The “Shake It Up” actress pulled out all the stops when she attended the Hollywood premiere of “Iron Man 3″ wearing a bold retro Spring 2013 coral and white floral puffed sleeve crop top and peplum long skirt by Katie Ermilio. MY VERDICT: I’m pretty sure Zendaya gets an obvious red carpet “A” for creativity!  The “Shake It Up” star, and new “Dancing with the Stars” contestant, arrived for the 2013 KCAs rocking a cool mismatched spring ensemble.  The teen started with a colorful Spring 2013 “Lollie” fit-and-flare sleeveless dress from Alice + Olivia that she partnered with a lightweight pale grey pullover.  I totally dig the way these two pieces blended for an effortless retro look due to the embellished collar on the dress that peeked out over the layered top.

Zendaya played homage to the 1950s with funky cat-eyed sunglasses before finishing off with a dark red talon manicure, a hot pink clutch, and sky-high Ruthie Davis platform “Jolie” strappy boots in the dark burgundy Vamp color.  There are a lot of colors and trends going on here that you probably wouldn’t imagine working so well together, but they do.

Well, at least when you’re 16-years-old.

Several stars came out for an intimate cocktail soirèe for the Rodeo Drive Walk of Style honoring BVLGARI this past Wednesday in Beverly Hills, where some of Hollywood’s most lovely up-and-coming starlets hit the black carpet in pretty little dresses and sparkling jewels. Let’s take a look!

Bella Heathcote played with color and print by selecting this cap-sleeved Mary Katrantzou envelope and bird pattern Spring 2013 dress. With Mary’s dresses, you don’t really need any help in the accessories department—because let’s face it, your attention is going to that dress whether you’re into it or not. It’s going to take something major for the eye to stray, and that was no different in this case. With that said, Bella completed her look with black satin Lanvin pumps, a white Patrick Shannon minaudière, Bulgari jewels and wavy tresses.

Revenge star Christa B. Allen wore a black monochrome outfit, which consisted of a sleeveless ruched mock neck micro mini dress that she partnered with pointed toe t-bar patent pumps by Christian Louboutin that are appropriately titled the “T-Spiga”. Lizzy Caplan was a guest on “The Tonight Show with Jay Leno” this past Friday night to talk about her new comedy “Bachelorette”, and looked quite fantastic in Stella McCartney.

Selecting an off-runway design from McCartney’s Fall/Winter 2012 collection, Lizzy rocked a colorblock tweed dress made up of muted browns, smoked grey and black. Christa B. Allen was quite the colorful lady this past Wednesday when she stepped out for InStyle Magazine’s 11th annual summer soirèe event that was held at The London Hotel in West Hollywood.

The 20-year-old “Revenge” star arrived in a colorful floral block a-line dress from the Fall 2012 collection by Giorgio Armani, which featured bright and happy shades of orange, pink, grey, red, and green. Elizabeth Banks shocked me and didn’t wear color at all on the red carpet tonight at the MTV Movie Awards.

So much for that wish list.

Despite the lack of brightness, “The Hunger Games” star still stuck to her usual bold style and killed it in a striking Elie Saab black stretch crepe, long-sleeve jumpsuit, with lace cut out panels from the Fall 2012 collection.

It was perfectly fit and totally cool! Elizabeth went for it and didn’t fall flat in anyway. She was easily one of my favorites of the evening because if there’s an award show to pull this look off, MTV is behind it.

The Trevor Project, the leading suicide prevention lifeline for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and questioning youth, held their annual Trevor Live! event on Saturday night. The red carpet at The Hollywood Palladium was abuzz with celebrities and corporate leaders arriving to show their support for the cause.

“Modern Family” actress Julie Bowen decided to go ‘all-black everything’ for the evening in a nappa leather “Diabla” cap sleeve sheath dress from the UK label Gomez-Gracia. Julie wore a pair of black peep toe pumps, but I think cool strappy platform sandals would have played off the edgy vibe of the dress much more. She’s also carrying a satin Christian Louboutin clutch.

I love her low ponytail with the light volume at the crown of her hair along with her gold hoop earrings featuring a diamond shaped black charm.

Miley Cyrus skipped out on the red carpet, but there’s no way one of The Trevor Project’s biggest supporters would miss the event all together. The 19-year-old singer hit the stage to perform her song “The Climb” while donned in a gorgeous beaded bronze metallic long-sleeve “Dayal” cocktail dress by designer Farah Angsana. This dress is so gorgeous and Miley’s long honey-colored wavy tendrils looked fabulous with the color and cut of the dress.
