MY VERDICT: Sarah Jessica rocked the BAFTAs this year when she stepped out in a cool jumpsuit from Elie Saab! What a way to set the trend for evening wear at major red carpet ceremonies. SJP selected her black three-quarter sleeve boat-neck one piece from the Pre-Fall 2013 collection by the designer, which also features a combo of velvet, scuba and stretch crepe panels throughout.  I’m loving it! This was cool, it was new, but most of all—it didn’t stand out like a sore thumb.  It may have taken the quick attention of all on-lookers, but it worked for the gala.

She left her long ombré tresses swept back in smooth strands before finishing with smoky eyes, layered diamond jewelry and a pair of black pointed toe Jean-Michel Cazabat d’Orsay pumps.  | continue reading..

Sarah Jessica Parker joined Gerard Butler on stage tonight at the Oslo Spektrum in Norway as the two hosted the annual Nobel Peace Prize Concert in style.

While Gerard suited up in dark grey, the 47-year-old actress opted for a beautiful long-sleeve light blue embroidered floor-length dress by Erdem, which comes from the latest Spring/Summer 2013 collection and features a sassy peek-a-boo illusion panel at the waist and a slit in the column skirt.

I just adore this dress, and I found it to be a lovely choice for SJP. Her hair looked nice styled in long waves—although it’s a change from how we usually see her hair. I can’t be too sure by the angle of the photo, but could it be that she actually went a bit lighter on the eyeliner? I think she emphasized pale blue shadow and toned down the heavy black. At least, I hope so.

She completed her look with jewelry from Fred Leighton.

Sarah Jessica Parker stepped out last night in a mismatched outfit for HBO’s In Vogue: The Editor’s Eye screening, held at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City. Seriously, nothing matched nor did it compliment each other.

First things first, I liked the vintage dark rust-orange floral dress she wore.  The long hemline and length of the short sleeves flattered both her legs and arms.  In fact, this might be one of the most figure complimenting dresses that she has ever worn. The 47-year-old actress wore a multicolored stripe cocktail dress from Scott’s new Spring/Summer 2013 collection. This is a dress I originally wish listed for Ashley Greene to wear on the press tour for her latest movie. I’m not going to lie, I’m a bit disappointed SJP took lead on this one as I had high hopes for Ash to kill it with her new red hair. | continue reading..

Sarah Jessica Parker was honored last night during ELLE’s 19th Annual Women In Hollywood Celebration.

The 47-year-old former “Sex and the City” star flaunted her tanned bod in a strapless dove grey cocktail dress, with metallic trim and a sheer waist, from the Spring/Summer 2013 collection by Calvin Klein — who also sponsored the event.

When I first saw SJP in the dress, I didn’t immediately like it — but, it grew on me. I also prefer this color over the originally presented ivory. With that said, I would have liked for her to wear a pewter or printed shoe over the mauve satin and black lace Manolo Blahnik pumps that she opted for. I’m not feeling those.

She completed her look with diamond drop earrings and silky straight center-parted tresses.

Sarah Jessica Parker dazzled as she stepped out on the red carpet at the David H. Koch Theater at Lincoln Center for the New York Ballet Fall Gala, hosted by Valentino, tonight wearing a beautiful embellished gown.

The 47-year-old actress wore Look 34 from the Valentino Fall/Winter 2012 Haute Couture collection, a creamy beige sheer gown with beautiful scattered floral embroidery in pale shades of purple and shimmery metallics. The ethereal dress features split draped open sleeves  and is tapered at the waist. Sarah added a rose gold colored belt to break up the design. | continue reading..

Sarah Jessica Parker was a guest of Valentino Garavani last night for the 2012 Metropolitan “Schiaparelli And Prada: Impossible Conversations” Costume Institute Gala.

The 47-year-old actress arrived at the MET wearing a pale pink, long-sleeve gown from the Spring 2012 haute couture collection that was covered in tiny pink and green floral prints.

I was going to say that this reminded me of curtain tapestry or a dress I had to wear for Easter when I was seven, but I was advised that that might be too harsh.

It was a glamorous black tie affair Monday night as Sarah Jessica Parker attended the Carnegie Hall Medal Of Excellence Gala to honor fashion photographer Bill Cunningham in NYC.

When it came to her dress for the evening, SJP turned to her designer pal Mr. Oscar de la Renta and wore this shimmering tech blue strapless ball gown. It was incredibly chilly that night, so I’m not surprised at all to see that she layered something on to keep warm — I just wish there were some photos sans-ivory cardigan.

With her long mane out in cascading waves, the look was completed with a pair of steel grey pumps and a matching bag.
