2011 Style Verdicts: Best Dressed Ensemble – The Cast of “Breaking Dawn”

2011 Style Verdicts: Best Dressed Ensemble - The Cast of "Breaking Dawn"It was a big year for movies, especially two mega franchises — “Harry Potter” and “Twilight”. While the wizards concluded their story during the summer, it was the vampires who took over in the fall in the most stylish way. The cast of “The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 1″ hit the promotional trail in late October heavily to promote the first installment of the finale to the blockbuster hit clad in designer looks by major fashion houses such as Gucci, Givenchy, J. Mendel, Donna Karan, Alexander McQueen and Dolce & Gabbana.

While some stars stayed consistently stylish, some had a rocky road, and others really came into their own. Here are some of my favorite looks Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson, Ashley Greene, Nikki Reed, Taylor Lautner, and the rest of the vampy gang globally rocked.

These were my favorite looks from both Ashley Greene and Nikki Reed during the tour. The avant-garde black and white cutaway Donna Karan design that Ashley donned at the NYC premiere of the film was so interesting. Every angle showed off the dress in a different light — and they were all good. Nikki echoed her choice of a vibrant cutout look with an acid green halter gown by Michael Kors that was trimmed in black and cutaway at both sides of her stomach.

Both ladies accessorized brilliantly, but it was Nikki who had me boiling with a major case of ‘shoe envy’ over her caged platform Giuseppe Zanotti boots. | continue reading..

I’m sure anyone reading this post has already seen “Breaking Dawn – Part 1″, the fourth installment in the vampy “Twilight” saga. While the movie hit theaters on November 18th, Robert Pattinson and co-star Taylor Lautner were in Berlin to premiere the film for their German fans.

Robert arrived at CineStar cinema wearing a very sleek, very nice two-button custom black suit by the New York City luxury brand Seize sur Vingt that he paired with a white button-down shirt and a dark grey tie.

He looks dashing, and extremely confident. I really liked how this suit fit him, and while the colors are pretty basic, the tweed tie looks beautiful with the monochrome style. Considering I wasn’t the biggest fan of the fit of his Lanvin suit the night before, I think the silhouette of this was much more flattering.

In addition to the A+ on his suit, I’m pretty sure this is the best his “facial scruff” looked on the whole promo tour. I definitely don’t mind his face completely bare, but I think this was trimmed just enough to show off his features — what a great jawline. I will never understand how his hair can look disheveled, but oh-so-nice. | continue reading..
