Before the Maison Martin Margiela collaboration with H&M hits stores on November 15th, the stars came out to celebrate the global launch with a New York City fashion bash at 5 Beekman on Tuesday, October 23rd.

Mena Suvari arrived to the party in a head-to-toe Maison Martin Margiela x H&M look, which included the nude long-sleeve top with a black printed bralette, which she paired with a midi-length navy drape skirt, nude structured wedges and an oversize metallic silver clutch.

Melissa George kept it cool in black double-breasted blazer, skinny jeans, pointed toe pumps and a jumbo Chanel 2.55 quilted handbag. I liked her serious approach with the tight mane, smoky eyes and nude lip. | continue reading..

I’m a scarf addict.

It doesn’t matter which season it is;  if it’s raining, snowing, or burning up outside — I incorporate a scarf into my wardrobe as much as possible. I’ll take them in a variety of styles; eternity, wool, ikat printed, metallic, and animal print… I love them all!

The first step is admitting it. In fact, I think it may be inherited. I’ve yet to see my own mother sans-scarf for the past two years.

Tuesday night was the long-awaited major Versace for H&M fashion show in New York City, and boy was it a fête! Stars like Chloe Moretz, Jessica Alba, Jennifer Hudson, Uma Thurman, Emma Roberts, Selma Blair, and Zoe Kravitz were all in attendance at H&M on the Hudson where the event was being held to celebrate the launch of the exclusive Versace collection at H&M.

After the models walked the wood-panneled runway in Pier 57 wearing looks from the line, guests were treated to performances by Nicki Minaj and Prince! Nicki arrived to the event wearing a custom embellished dress from the collection. | continue reading..

There’s one good thing that came from Selma Blair’s ensemble today at the Veuve Clicquot Polo Classic held at Will Rogers State Historic Park. One thing and one thing only…her Marc Jacobs skirt.

Selma arrived wearing a nearly head-to-toe harsh all black look, but it was the the gorgeous peach shade of her pencil skirt from the Fall/Winter 2011 collection that brightened everything up. Of course it wasn’t enough to save the look, but at least it did a little damage control.

Don’t get me wrong, I like her blouse…just not like this.

How cute is this shot of Chloe Moretz and Selma Blair greeting each other at the Independent Film celebration held by the Independent Filmmaker Project, RBC And Euphoria Calvin Klein last night during the Toronto International Film Festival?

The two stylish ladies met up with each other at the party wearing two very suitable and pretty dresses. While Chloe selected a youthful (finally!) tartan dress from Alexander McQueen‘s division label McQ with some fringed sandals which she paired with socks, Selma went for a glittery cocktail dress.

I wish there were some great full length photos of Selma in her multi-color stone embellished dress with a black sheer overlay from Halston‘s fall 2011 ready-to-wear collection. I bet it looked gorgeous from all angles on the new mom’s already slimming frame. Selma wore black satin slingback pumps by Salvatore Ferragamo.
