MY VERDICT: It was another all black look for Diane Kruger when she attended the NYC special screening of her new movie “The Host”. The film is based off the novel by Stephenie Meyer, who gained fame from her first book series, the famous “Twilight” saga. Diane joined her costars Saoirse Ronan, Jake Abel, and Max Irons, wearing a cool short sleeve dress by Chanel.

The 36-year-old actress rocked the short LBD over a matching mini skirt, both from the new Fall 2013 collection, that features delicate all-over pearl embroideries.  I like the way Diane toughened up the ladylike style with over-the-knee suede Christian Louboutin “Big Lips” boots with silver pin heels.  | continue reading..

MY VERDICT: Diane continued to make us envy how effortlessly amazing she appears on the red carpet, or in this case–teal, when she arrived for the Hollywood premiere of her new sci-fi thriller “The Host”.  The 36-year-old actress donned a sleeveless black dress from the new Fall 2013 collection by Thakoon, which features sheer paneling down the sides and along the hem of the fit-and-flare skirt that’s embellished with sequin micro flowers that matched the larger embroidery throughout the front and back center panel.  This simple cut and dazzling detail exuded dark and dramatic romance; it looked great on Diane–duh–but, it doesn’t hurt that the dress on its own is a real beauty.

Diane kept her long shiny blonde tresses styled very sleek and parted to the side, behind her ears, as she showed off a sparkling pair of white gold and diamond “Firework” earrings by Stephen Webster.  | continue reading..

Busy Philipps proudly displayed her growing belly in a custom made Gabriela Cadena navy blue long sleeve silk dress.  The “Cougar Town” actress, who recently announced her second pregnancy added some boldness to her look with a colorful one-of-a-kind Irene Neuwirth statement necklace and a matching embellished clutch by Judith Leiber.  A scarlet red lip, gathered mane and Brian Atwood “Stearling” shoes were the finishing touches.

Alexis Bledel like Jessica Pare, the 31-year-old actress also opted to wear a brilliant shade of emerald green at the SAGs this year. I love the color and pleated detailing of her structured Rena Lange dress, and the way her beautiful vintage House of Lavende colorful crystal necklace sat amongst the deep v-neckline. While Naomie Harris was showing some skin in an edgy see-through dazzler, Bérénice Marlohe opted for the ‘classic glamour’ route when she hit the red carpet at Royal Albert Hall for the London premiere of “Skyfall” last night.

The latest “Bond girl” looked beautiful in a red Vivienne Westwood haute couture strapless corset ballgown.

It was a quite the swanky affair last night when the Four Seasons Hotel Los Angeles at Beverly Hills quickly filled up with some of the most talented ladies (and fellas) in Tinseltown as they came together to help honor their fellow actors at ELLE Magazine’s annual Women In Hollywood event.

Ellie Kemper kept it chic in an ivory Moschino peplum cocktail dress with a ruffled neckline, from the Fall 2011 collection. I really love that she added some color to her look with deep red accessories. She carried a patent clutch with matching pumps before topping it all off with 18k white gold earrings with rubies and diamonds from Katerina Maxine.

“Glee” actress Naya Rivera also opted for a Fall 2011 dress by Moschino; a yellow cream sleeveless shift dress with light pin-tucking at the waist. She also opted for red accessories, including a gold and bordeaux tube clutch that she partnered with velvet open toe platform Tory Burch pumps. Julianne Hough arrived on the black carpet at Grauman’s Chinese Theater last night for the Hollywood premiere of “Rock of Ages” wearing a super bright dress.

The 23-year-old star had this Fall 2012 illusion cutout, single-shoulder gown by Kaufmanfranco created in a neon highlighter yellow from its original Chinese red.

I like the color, and it fit the 80′s rock ‘n roll theme of the movie –but the dress was really long on Julianne and I have no idea what’s going on with her hair. | continue reading..

Elizabeth Banks shocked me and didn’t wear color at all on the red carpet tonight at the MTV Movie Awards.

So much for that wish list.

Despite the lack of brightness, “The Hunger Games” star still stuck to her usual bold style and killed it in a striking Elie Saab black stretch crepe, long-sleeve jumpsuit, with lace cut out panels from the Fall 2012 collection.

It was perfectly fit and totally cool! Elizabeth went for it and didn’t fall flat in anyway. She was easily one of my favorites of the evening because if there’s an award show to pull this look off, MTV is behind it.

She finished off her look with a twisted top-knot bun, bright pink nails, a Stephen Webster gold and black onyx dagger ring, a perpex Lulu Guinness “Lips” minaudière and a super hot pair of “Prefab” pumps by Ruthie Davis. | continue reading..
