MY VERDICT: Providing a pretty balance of “sweet” and “rebellious”, the 19-year-old “Jessie” star hit the red carpet for the “Iron Man 3″ premiere wearing a strapless OSMAN cocktail dress with a black leather bodice and a cream skirt completely embroidered with shimmering gold detailing, from designer Osman Yousefzada’s Spring 2013 collection. Not only was the dress a perfect fit on Debby’s figure, but I like that she kept her neckline practically bare–with the exception of a dainty gold necklace–and wore her long ginger tresses up in a loosely twisted style. | continue reading..

MY VERDICT: Talk about a well put together outfit!  Naomie looked fantastic on the gold carpet for the luncheon wearing an electric printed Monique Lhuillier sleeveless cocktail dress, from the designer’s Resort 2013 collection.  Despite the beauties she has put on the catwalk recently, I’m still so completely in love with this collection that I’m thrilled to still see it making the rounds.  The “Skyfall” actress was a sensational choice for this particular design, which she sharply partnered with Stuart Weitzman “Showbiz” black booties and a vibrant purple “Lara” clutch by Edie Parker. MY VERDICT: Holy Moly Debby! Can we talk about how absolutely fabulous the “Jessie” star looked at this Vanity Fair bash wearing a gorgeous sparkling Naeem Khan dress? The 19-year-old actress selected the short sleeve embroidered gold design from the Pre-Fall 2013 collection, which features an a-line skirt silhouette and a deep notched neckline that showed off her décolletage.  Thankfully, it was just enough—something many of Hollywood has trouble finding the fine line with.  With such a bold frock, Debby complimented it with unembellished gold sandals and matching jewelry with a bit of seafoam mixed in.

Glamorous golden makeup paired with an elegant “sock bun” helped the lovely ginger-haired lady complete her look.

I loved it from head-to-toe!

WHO: Naya Rivera
WHERE & WHEN: 19th Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards on January 27, 2013.

MY VERDICT: Naya was one of the brightest shining stars at the SAG Awards this year, even though she wore the darkest color.  The 26-year-old “Glee” actress showed off her toned figure and flawless caramel skin in a sexy Donna Karan Atelier silk duchess satin gown, which featured an exposed corset which was surrounded by fanned out accordion pleated detailing.  I’d say out of the few short years her FOX show has been on air, this is probably Naya’s most show-stopping red carpet moment.  With her long dark tresses styled in glamorous curls, Naya completed her look with rosy cheeks, pink lips, and emerald-and-diamond jewelry.

WHERE & WHEN: 2013 National Board Of Review Awards at Cipriani 42nd Street in NYC on January 8, 2013.

MY VERDICT: Emily gave us minimalist chic last night when she attended the National Board of Review cocktail awards gala wearing a fabulous little nude Emilio Pucci dress. The “Looper” actress rocked an off-runway Fall 2012 number, which features cutouts at the shoulders and waist. This fit Emily’s figure like a dream, and I love how her loose light tresses and soft makeup helped create a heavenly blush palette.  She finished with gorgeous rose gold metallic pumps. A++

Rebel Wilson looked beautiful in a berry red silk dress from A.B.S. by Allen Schwartz when she stepped out for the Hollywood premiere of her new movie “Pitch Perfect” last night at the ArcLight Hollywood theater.

The knee-length dress featured a cutout back and a rosette design on each of the cap sleeves that reminded me of the full-length gown that Lea Michele wore to the 2011 Primetime Emmy Awards. | continue reading..

Morena Baccarin: The “Homeland” actress rocked a plunging neck strapless grey dress with pleating at the bust and hips. I thought she pushed the risk of a “wardrobe malfunction”, but thankfully Morena had an illusion inset within the v-neck opening. Red lips, bold diamond jewelry and a pewter minaudière were the finishing touches to Morena’s Emmys look.

Glenn Close: After completely falling in love with Glenn’s look at the Oscars this year, I was excited to see what she would wear to the Emmys. The “Damages” actress wore a Bibhu Mohapatra printed long-sleeve mermaid gown with black sheer draped panels at the skirt and all over sharp details layered throughout the rest. I may have felt differently about the dress on someone else, but it did absolutely nothing for me on Glenn. She accessorized with a pair of satin “Anya” sandals by Dana Davis.

Gretchen Mol: Unless you’re wearing black (or black-and-white), you run a risk wearing a monochrome look on the red carpet. At least if it’s all the same shade of one color. I’m surprised with how much I loved what Gretchen wore. | continue reading..

Last night the stars from film, music and the catwalk hit the red carpet at the Royal Opera House for the 2012 GQ Men of the Year Awards to celebrate some of the finest men of the last year. Among the honorees were Dolce & Gabbana‘s Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana for Designer of the Year, Aaron Sorkin for Writer of the Year, Tinie Tempah for Solo Artist of the Year, and of course, the Team Great Britain Olympians!

On Saturday night, the stars of daytime television hit the red carpet at the Beverly Hilton Hotel to attend the 39th Annual Daytime Entertainment Emmy Awards.
