MY VERDICT: I really liked the icy blue hue of this dress on the runway—and apparently  Thandie Newton does as well, but I can’t help but adore the bright tangerine on Julianne. I would probably normally feel that the nude sheer insets were too heavy and needed a faint citrus to compliment the rest, but I think she pulls this off.  It may also be one of the rare times I liked the pairing of the nude suede “Tribtoo” platform YSL pumps as well.  | continue reading..

MY VERDICT: Looks like Thandie will be hitting the Golden Globe red carpet this weekend, and she’s apparently getting ready for it in style because I really liked this pale blue dress by British designer Alice Temperley. The silhouette and design is lovely, but I especially love the delicate pattern. This was a pretty color against Thandie’s caramel complexion and dark hair, and she finished off the look well with minimal makeup, a metallic pattern clutch and pewter open toe pumps. It was definitely a great ensemble for a daytime tea party, wouldn’t you say?

Julianne Hough finally really captured my attention when she attended Tuesday night’s celebration of GQ Men of the Year 2012. The former “Dancing with the Stars” star arrived at Chateau Marmont for the bash wearing a cool ivory lady tux!

Rocking a brand new bob haircut, Julianne really stood out in her Temperley London tuxedo, from the Resort 2013 collection, which featured a long double-breasted blazer and wide leg trousers.

She added a touch of color to the look with dark red lips before finishing with a gold Roger Vivier clutch and Jerome C. Rousseau heels—which we, unfortunately, couldn’t see due to the pant leg.

While this isn’t a ground-breaking look for her, I still really liked it!.

Olivia Munn sparkled in gold when she hit the red carpet on Wednesday evening for the 2012 BAFTA Los Angeles Britannia Awards. The “Newsroom” actress wore a figure-flaunting gown by Temperley London with metallic ombré sequin-embellishments in a chevron pattern that fell into a sheer white lightly pleated hemline.

I like the color against Olivia’s tan complexion and the balance of shimmering accents; she didn’t go overboard–which is good. Olivia wore a pair of Asprey diamond earrings that peeked out from her wavy chignon hairstyle. | continue reading..

Kerry Washington electrified in hot pink when she attended the 2012 BAFTA Los Angeles Britannia Awards Presented By BBC AMERICA on Wednesday evening in Beverly Hills, California. The “Scandal” actress hit the red carpet wearing a fuchsia satin wrap floor-length dress by Temperley Londonwith triple bow shaped accents at the hip.

I prefer the Pre-Fall 2012 design on Kerry over the model as I like the slinky and sultry look on her body. It just hangs from her so beautifully rather than being strategically fit to the model’s figure— | continue reading..

Ashlee Simpson looked beautiful on Sunday night when she attended HBO’s Annual Emmy Awards Post Awards Reception in West Hollywood wearing a delicate embellished dress.

The 27-year-old singer/actress arrived at the Pacific Design Center wearing a pretty ivory embroidered tulle gown from the Spring/Summer 2012 collection by Temperley London, which featured faceted crystals, beads and petal appliqués. You may remember Katy Perry taking a liking to this very same gown this past Spring, but I found it to be a much more flattering fit on Ashlee’s svelte frame.

With her blonde hair gathered up only to leave a cool asymmetric swept bang in the front, Ashlee finished off her party look with an arm cuff, a statement ring with matching earrings, dark smoky eyes and a metallic clutch.

Vanessa Hudgens sparkled her way out onto the red carpet last night for the official premiere of “Spring Breakers”, held during the 69th Venice International Film Festival at the Palazzo del Cinema in Venice, Italy.

The 27-year-old “Part Of Me” singer flaunted a bit of leg in a pretty black sheer long sleeve cocktail dress from the Fall 2012 collection by Temperley London, which was embroidered with blue, aqua and cherry red floral and vine patterns.
