Like Meryl Streep, “The Artist” star Missi Pyle also attended the 2012 Oscars wearing an Eco-couture gown.

The 39-year-old actress arrived on the red carpet wearing a mineral-dyed aqua trumpet gown designed by Valentino Delfino. It was made using cruelty-free silkworms! Valentino was the winner of Suzy Amis Cameron’s “Red Carpet Green Fashion” designer competition and hand pleated this trumpet gown for Missi to wear for the big night.

The lining of her dress was also created using recycled polyester. | continue reading..

Penelope Ann Miller in Badgley Mischka | 2012 Oscars

One of my favorite ladies on the Oscars red carpet last night was Penelope Anne Miller. Not many stars can say they had a hand in designing their gown, but “The Artist” actress can.

Penelope helped design her pale pink halter neck gown by Badgley Mischka that was fully embroidery with a scattered effect of silver sequins throughout the entire dress. The smooth tapered style gave Penelope an amazing smooth silhouette.  | continue reading..

Berenice Bejo looked quite stunning tonight when she arrived for the 84th Annual Academy Awards in a minty fresh gown designed by Elie Saab.

The Best Actress nominee, for her role in “The Artist”, glittered on the red carpet in this custom-colored long sleeve sequin, pearl and bead embroidered gown with a deep v neckline, from the Spring/Summer 2012 haute couture collection. | continue reading..

I was totally surprised when I saw Berenice Bejo hit the red carpet on Sunday night for the 2012 Orange British Academy Film Awards in an Azzedine Alaïa haute couture gown!

“The Artist” actress arrived at the Royal Opera House wearing this design that had been modified from a look that was seen on the Fall/Winter 2011 catwalk. | continue reading..

2012 SAG Awards: ‘Artistic’ Differences

Already taking award season by storm — and recently raking in a few Oscar nods — the ladies of “The Artist” brought a touch of femininity, glamour and fun to the red carpet on Sunday night for the 2012 Screen Actors Guild Awards.

Berenice Bejo showed off her newly red mane in a low curly ponytail — with stray tendrils and swept bangs — as it gracefully fell over the shoulders of her beautiful gown. The 35-year-old actress wore a pretty bead-embellished v-neck custom column ivory gown by Ralph Lauren. This might quite possibly be my most favorite look for her. The dress was so flattering, her hair looked amazing, and most of all — that necklace! | continue reading..

Missi Pyle joined her cast and crew from “The Artist” on Friday night at Soho House for the Australian Academy Of Cinema And Television Arts’ 1st Annual Awards in West Hollywood.

The actress wore a beautiful purple strapless dress with a high-rise hem from the Winter 2010 collection by Chagoury Couture.

I love the two toned violet and lavender shades; the colors are so rich. | continue reading..

We may have seen a lot of looks from the Spring/Summer 2012 collection by Gucci on the red carpet in recent months, but thankfully that doesn’t lessen the fact this black and gold dress on Berenice Bejo was a perfect fit.

“The Artist” actress hit the red carpet at the Grand Ballroom at Hollywood & Highland for the 64th Annual Directors Guild Of America Awards last night in the flapper styled dress that perfectly suited the theme of her movie — which took home the award for Outstanding Directorial Achievement in Feature Film for 2011. | continue reading..

Missi Pyle gave me a bit of a flashback to Julia Jones at “The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 1″ premiere last year when I saw her on the red carpet last night for the 64th Annual Directors Guild Of America Awards. What do the two have in common?

Their dresses look like nighties! | continue reading..

Yesterday morning was the Spring/Summer 2012 fashion show for Elie Saab during Paris Haute-Couture Fashion Week.

Newly Oscar-nominated actress Berenice Bejo from “The Artist” was front row at the Grand Palais in a gorgeous knee-length magenta cap-sleeve cocktail dress from the Resort 2012 collection with a plunging neckline and folded gathered peplum that hits to one side. I wish she had worn the belt. | continue reading..
