Charlize Theron joined Michael Fassbender (“Shame”), Christopher Plummer (“Beginners”), Tilda Swinton (“We Need to Talk About Kevin”), George Clooney (“The Descendants”), Viola Davis (“The Help”), and pup Uggie from “The Artist” for Newsweek’s annual Oscar Roundtable interview last week.

During awards season, once the trophies are given out, it becomes all about the after parties! Anybody who was anybody made sure to hit up the Warner Bros./InStyle fête thrown at the Beverly Hilton Hotel immediately following the 2012 Golden Globes ceremony last Sunday.

Some stars stayed in their red carpet gowns while others opted for more ‘moveable’ cocktail looks, and other stars who skipped the ceremonies hit up the parties in vibrant or glittery looks. | continue reading..

They say “the third time is the charm”, and boy are they right when it came to 20-year-old actress Shailene Woodley!

Shailene stepped out on the red carpet at the Beverly Hilton Hotel last night for the 2012 Golden Globe Awards, where she was nominated her role in “The Descendants”, wearing an angelic icy silk and tulle dress with gathering at the waist from the Spring/Summer 2012 Bridal collection by Marchesa. | continue reading..

It’s nice to see that Shailene Woodley was back on the right fashionable path last night at the 2011 National Board of Review Awards in New York City.

The 20-year-old star of “The Descendants” arrived at Cipriani 42nd Street wearing a black floral embroidered red sleek sheath dress from the Spring/Summer 2012 collection L’Wren Scott. I prefer the scarlet shade of Shailene’s dress, but the shorter length seen on the runway model. | continue reading..

It was a night to celebrate film when the stars hit the red carpet at the 2012 Palm Springs International Film Festival Awards gala held at the Palm Springs Convention Center last Saturday night.

I hope Shailene Woodley gets some downtime next week to enjoy the holidays with her friends and family, she’s been practically everywhere the last few months as she’s been promoting “The Descendants”.

The 21-year-old walked the red carpet last night at the Madinat Jumeriah Complex to premiere the film for the 8th Annual Dubai International Film Festival in a bright lilac lace knee-length cocktail dress by Dolce&Gabbana.

I really like the color, but I’m all about embracing the fall and this has “keep me handy for spring” all over it. A fun multicolored sandal or printed pump would have really complimented this dress. It’s, surprisingly, a very versatile color.

Needless to say, I’m not feeling the black pumps.

Last week Shailene Woodley attended the 2011 Gotham Independent Film Awards at Cipriani Wall Street; she was a Breakthrough Actor nominee for her role in “The Descendants” but lost to Felicity Jones.

Shailene looked cool and confident in a black suit and white button-down shirt from the Fall/Winter 2011 collection by Dolce&Gabbana.

As with her last look from the brand, this was another winner for Shailene. I’m a self-professed fan of women wearing menswear, therefore I have a soft spot for taking the style to the red carpet. Shailene kept it fresh with grey point toe pumps and pulled her long hair into a side fish tail braid.

She finally got it right!

I’ve been liking the designer choices for Shailene Woodley while she’s been doing press for “The Descendants” the last couple of months, but I have yet liked one of her red carpet looks completely.

This all changed on Tuesday when the 20-year-old actress arrived at the AMPAS Samuel Goldwyn Theater for the Beverly Hills premiere in a beautiful black tea-length dress by Dolce&Gabbana that was covered in purple and coral floral prints.

Shailene looked so lovely and ladylike in this dress, which featured a sweetheart neckline at the crossover bodice.

The dress looked amazing on her, it fit and cut in all the right places. I love that she kept her make-up minimal but finally wore her really long hair in a beautiful up-’do. If she had worn it out, I probably would have clicked out her photo without even commenting on it here.

Not only was this the perfect premiere dress for her, it was also a great look for her to celebrate her birthday in! Her special day was the same night.

Shailene finished off with black satin rounded toe pumps.

Before last night’s red carpet premiere, Shailene Woodley accompanied her co-star George Clooney to the photocall for ‘The Descendants’ held during the 55th BFI London Film Festival at The Odeon West End.

The 19-year-old actress wore a dark seafoam short sleeve v-neck top and grey pencil skirt featuring daisies in the same seafoam shade along with a cream color which were all outlined in a dark gold. The combo dress (that she wore sans belt) comes from the Resort 2011 Z Spoke by Zac Posen collection.

Just like at the premiere, Shailene wore her hair out but unlike last night it wasn’t as bad considering she wasn’t on the red carpet. I just don’t understand why she’d want to cover up her outfits like this anyway. To each their own I guess.

Shailene wore lace up tan cutout oxford shoes.

Shailene Woodley in Christian Dior | 2011 London Film Festival Premiere – “The Descendants”

You may be familiar with Shailene Woodley as the lead actress from ABC Family’s “The Secret Life of the American Teenager”, but she also appears in the film “The Descendants” with George Clooney which had its premiere during the 55th BFI London Film Festival at Odeon Leicester Square tonight.

I wasn’t expecting this so Shailene shocked me by wearing a pretty ruffled strapless pale pink and blue cocktail dress with an embroidered floral bodice featuring pearl embellishments from the Fall/Winter 2011 collection by Christian Dior. Unlike many actresses that decide on a simple pump, she even wore the matching epic high suede platform sandals with little bows fastened to the t-strap from the collection.

I want this post to be about me gushing over her Dior, but I just can not get passed the fact that she did absolutely nothing with her hair. It looks like she had it in a bun while she got her makeup done, let it loose while leaving it alone in all it’s bun-indented glory. This would had been a great look if her hair was fixed.
