More and more Westwood!

Amy Adams was the latest in fans of Vivienne Westwood this month as “The Muppets” actress selected this metallic silver cocktail dress for the Vanity Fair Oscar party.

It was a darn-near flawless fit on the 33-year-old actress!

I liked her rise-and-fall gathered hairstyle, but I wish she had worn a sleeker sandal or pump rather than her cool chunky Giuseppe Zanotti open toe silver platform pumps.

They were not only too heavy for the dress, but they were also too “matchy”.

As if I would really pass on posting about one of my favorite girls!

The one and only Miss Piggy hit the red carpet with her main frog Kermit (wearing Brooks Brothers) on Sunday night for the 84th Annual Academy Awards. Because she’s the most glamorous piglet in all of Hollywood, Miss Piggy’s dear friend Zac Posen custom made a shimmering champagne gown just for her to wear on Oscar night.

The dress featured a plunging neckline that twisted under her ‘bust’ and had draping details at her ‘hips’.

She completed her look with a bumped up ‘do that would put Snooki to shame, long white evening gloves, and lots and lots of diamonds — courtesy of Fred Leighton.

Can you think of any other piglet that’s more chic than the ultra-glamorous Miss Piggy?

Yeah, didn’t think so.

Rashida Jones joined in on the fun with her co-stars on the green carpet at the premiere of Walt Disney Pictures’ “The Muppets” yesterday in Hollywood at the El Capitan Theatre.

While she couldn’t compare to Miss Piggy, Rashida was dressed in a pretty sleeveless frayed tweed, metallic silver weave combo dress with a lurex woven skirt from the Fall/Winter 2011 Collection by Giambattista Valli — this dress was seen in a slightly different way on the catwalk. I’m sort of disappointed — simply because I liked the runway version so much. I would have preferred Rashida wore that one. It’s not a big deal though when you put in account the shoes she selected for the evening. | continue reading..

Amy Adams celebrated the release of “The Muppets” yesterday as she hit the green carpet (in honor of Kermit the Frog, of course) for the premiere held at El Capitan Theatre in Hollywood.

Her dress of choice was an ivory and soft red pencil design from the Spring/Summer 2012 collection by Roland Mouret.

The skirt was sleek with a bit of ivory underlining peeking out at the hem while the top was low cut and hung off her shoulders with thick straps. They were really just for design as she had additional grey straps to keep her dress intact.

I really liked the black built in ribbon belt separating the two-toned style, but I wish Amy had left the delicate bow as seen on the runway model. The lack of the bow didn’t ruin it for me, I’m just a stickler for the femininity of it.

The dress fit her well, and her beautiful light red hair was beautifully styled in glamorous thick curls.

Amy finished off her look with non-distracting nude point toe leather pumps by Jimmy Choo.

All eyes were on a silver convertible as it rolled down the green carpet yesterday at the El Capitan Theatre carrying some very precious cargo — Miss Piggy! Yep, the prettiest ‘diva’ in Hollywood made her grand entrance at the premiere of “The Muppets” in a Jeremy Scott  satin v-neck dress as a red feathered boa was draped around her.

Miss Piggy accessorized with classic pearls and a ruby and gold large cocktail ring. On her feet were a pair of glittery peep-toe platform pumps by Christian Louboutin.

There’s no doubt that she was the epitome of glamour — from her feathered hair to her full eyelashes. | continue reading..
