MY VERDICT:  Jessica Chastain may have stole the victory of the best use of color at the Oscar nominees lunch, but Anne was brilliant in her tailored LBD and killer heels!  The “Les Misèrables” actress hit that scarlet rug looking timeless in a sleeveless black crepe The Row “Dorning” sheath with a ruffled accent at the back of her right hip.  Although this dress was featured in a gorgeous vivid pumpkin for the Resort 2013 collection–and I do love me some rich color, I think the black worked well for Anne. | continue reading..

Several stars came out for an intimate cocktail soirèe for the Rodeo Drive Walk of Style honoring BVLGARI this past Wednesday in Beverly Hills, where some of Hollywood’s most lovely up-and-coming starlets hit the black carpet in pretty little dresses and sparkling jewels. Let’s take a look!

Bella Heathcote played with color and print by selecting this cap-sleeved Mary Katrantzou envelope and bird pattern Spring 2013 dress. With Mary’s dresses, you don’t really need any help in the accessories department—because let’s face it, your attention is going to that dress whether you’re into it or not. It’s going to take something major for the eye to stray, and that was no different in this case. With that said, Bella completed her look with black satin Lanvin pumps, a white Patrick Shannon minaudière, Bulgari jewels and wavy tresses.

Revenge star Christa B. Allen wore a black monochrome outfit, which consisted of a sleeveless ruched mock neck micro mini dress that she partnered with pointed toe t-bar patent pumps by Christian Louboutin that are appropriately titled the “T-Spiga”. Kate Walsh let her auburn hair pop against a dark dress when she stepped out for the 2012 GQ Men of the Year bash on Tuesday wearing a very popular black leather dress.

The “Private Practice” actress wore the ruched long-sleeve LBD by The Row, from the Pre-Fall 2012 collection, which we’ve previously seen on Charlize Theron back in May for the Japanese premiere of “Snow White and the Huntsman”. I prefer the dress on Charlize—but, I like Kate’s hair color with it. With the said, her shoes were all wrong.

Kate needed a fierce shoe with such a sexy solid dress, but she opted for rounded toe black leather Christian Louboutin pumps.

Well, ok then.

Twin designer moguls Ashley Olsen and Mary-Kate Olsen joined each other at the 2012 WSJ. Magazine “Innovator Of The Year” Awards, which were held at MOMA on Thursday evening in New York City.

The 26-year-old stylish petite ladies wore brand new Spring/Summer 2013 looks from their high-end collection, The Row.

Ashley kept it chic in black with a satin sleeveless plunging v-neck top and the matching floor-length skirt, while Mary-Kate opted for the cool midnight blue smoking jacket and trousers. | continue reading..

While in Paris to support her husband Jay-Z on his Watch the Throne Tour, Beyoncé has been having her own little style tour.

Bey was spotted leaving her hotel on Thursday in another sassy look, this time from the Spring 2012 collection by Surface to Air.

The 30-year-old showed off her long, toned legs in the bright yellow “Savana” trouser shorts that she paired with the loose “Tribune” short sleeve tee and oversize “Sunny” blazer, which she pushed the sleeves up on.

As if I wasn’t loving this shorts suit enough, B added a brilliant assortment of accessories into the mix!

She slipped on a pair of those insanely awesome flame sandals from the Spring 2012 collection by Prada, grabbed her tigeress “De Manta” clutch from Alexander McQueen and completed her look with The Row x Linda Farrow round sunglasses.

I love her latest hairstyle of leaving her curls out; I much prefer this to her usual straight tresses.

Beyonce’s style since giving birth to her daughter Blue Ivy a few months ago has been better than ever!

Designing twin sisters Ashley and Mary-Kate Olsen attended the 2012 CFDA Fashion Awards last night where they were nominated — and won — the award for Womenswear Designer of the Year for their The Row collection.

The 25-year-old petite ladies both wore custom looks from their line.

Ashley donned a silk satin dark magenta gown, with a waterfall ruffle attached to the v-neckline. She finished off with a chignon hairstyle, diamond earrings, silver bracelets, a pair of yellow pumps and a croc leather handbag.

Sporting a new brunette ‘do, Mary-Kate kept it classic in a black blouse, high slit skirt and a wrapped satin sash at the waist. | continue reading..

Charlize Theron, who stars as the Evil Queen Ravenna in “Snow White and the Huntsman”, turned to her dark side for the premiere of the movie tonight in Tokyo, Japan.

The gorgeous star arrived with director Rupert Sanders wearing a lethal long-sleeve black leather “Risting” dress from the Pre-Fall 2012 collection by The Row. This design was originally presented in a blushing pink shade.

This is the first major event promoting the movie where Charlize wasn’t joined by her Snow White — Kristen Stewart.

KStew is currently in Mexico with other SWATH-er Sam Claflin.

Charlize accessorized with a pair of black strappy Dior sandals that accentuated her dark manicure on her toes.

She added a spice of color with a matte red lipstick before finishing off her look with voluminous wavy tresses.

Charlize looked amazing as usual; I’m glad she wore the black version of this dress rather than the lighter shade. She looked a bit more dangerous; perfect for the Evil Queen.
