On Wednesday night GenArt honored alumni, fashion label Vena Cava with a special poolside summer party at the Chateau Marmont in Los Angeles, California where some of Hollywood’s hottest stars dressed in their VC best.

Phoebe Tonkin, formerly of the CW’s “The Secret Circle” and can next be seen on the upcoming season of “The Vampire Diaries”, looked fabulous in a black asymmetric button-down blouse that she paired with a white mini skirt that was splashed in psychedelic watercolor prints of blue and purple.

The always beautiful Sophia Bush stayed comfortable in a printed button-down, short sleeve dress that she partnered with a gorgeous statement necklace and a pair of mustard yellow suede platform lace-up ankle boots. Phoebe Tonkin looked beautiful on the red carpet this past Tuesday night when she attended the Australians In Film & Benefit Dinner in California wearing Tadashi Shoji.

The 22-year-old Australian actress, and former star of now defunct TV series “The Secret Circle”, arrived at the InterContinental Hotel wearing a cap sleeve silk linen dress from the Spring 2012 collection, which featured a hand-painted ivy wash print that began beneath the bust and continued to the top of the drop-waist skirt. | continue reading..

I think I’m officially addicted to the latest Kevin Williamson television creation on The CW Network. I may have not been a teen for a few years now, but if Kevin’s behind a thriller/drama — you can best believe I’ll check it out. Especially after being an avid lover of both “Dawson’s Creek” and “The Vampire Diaries”.

While they’re could be some improvements with his new witch-centered series “The Secret Circle”, it looks like I’ll be watching every week. The lead character Cassie Blake (played by Britt Robertston) has also grabbed my attention in the wardrobe department. While most of her gear is so obviously from Urban Outfitters, I really like how the items are assembled. I especially love the pairing of the pretty dress with cargo jackets and knee-high leather boots.

In the series premiere Cassie wore that very outfit which included the speckled silk “Georgia” dress by Club Monaco. I love the open stand-up collar and button closure after the v-neckline. The dress also has three quarter sleeves and an elastic smocking detail at the waist, but I really like the brown leather belt the stylist for the show added to it.

The “Georgia” dress is so versatile and light that it can be worn from spring on its own straight into winter because it looks so fabulous with a little bit of layering.

I’m so excited to see “The Secret Circle” on The CW this fall, call me a supernatural freak but I love me a good series about witches and vampires. The fact that Kevin Williamson, the man behind The Vampire Diaries, is backing this show as well just further fuels my interest.

Jessica Parker Kennedy who will play witchypoo Melissa is just adorable! The 26-year-old (doesn’t look a day over 18!) attended the CW launch party last night to promote her new show in a pair of metallic glittered peep toe platforms which she paired with a black strapless dress from…wait for it…Forever 21!

Once her new show takes off and she has much more promoting to do, I hope the lovely Stacey Bendet from Alice + Olivia will take Jessica under her wing. I’d love to see her in some of the fabulous looks from the recent A+O resort 2012 collection.
