Emmy Rossum was one of my favorite ladies on the red carpet for The Ripple Effect dinner -- hosted by "The Vampire Diaries" stars Ian Somerhalder and Kat Graham -- this weekend at the Sunset Luxe Hotel in Los Angeles. The brunette beauty arrived at the event, benefiting The Water Project charity, in a gorgeous sparkling sequin long-sleeve blue "Starlet" cocktail dress by Naven with a plunging open back. Not only was the glittering frock festive this holiday season, the dinner was about helping to keep our water clean and Emmy's dress reminded me of the reflection of the clear ocean when the sun is brightly shining on it.
With filming for her television show currently on break for the holidays, Nina Dobrev joined her co-stars from "The Vampire Diaries" last night to support The Ripple Effect cause for The Water Project charity at the Sunset Luxe Hotel in Los Angeles. TVD's Ian Somerhalder and Kat Graham (pictured with Nina below) hosted the dinner for the non-profit organization focused on 'bringing relief to communities around the world who suffer needlessly from a lack of access to clean water and proper sanitation.' Nina arrived on the red carpet donned in a long-sleeve black dress from the Fall/Winter 2011 collection by Monique Lhuillier. This design was full of detail! A luxe velvet bow at the waist separated the pencil skirt from the bustier bodice with a neck-to-waist overlay of black lace that connected to the sleeves.
