Tina Fey in Oscar de la Renta | 2013 SAG Awards

WHO: Tina Fey
WHERE & WHEN: 19th Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards on January 27, 2013.
WEARING: Oscar de la Renta dress & clutch.

MY VERDICT: After taking a little break two weeks ago, Tina returned to her go-to designer Oscar de la Renta for her SAG Awards dress.  The 42-year-old actress won big for her role on “30 Rock” while donned in a black stretch crepe gown from the Spring 2013 runway collection; this slim silhouette features a sweetheart neckline, delicate pleating midway, and a silver patent belt with a crystal buckle.  I like the Hollywood throwback Tina did with those retro side-parted curls.  With subtle flattering makeup, Tina put the finishing touches on her look with Mr. de la Renta’s silver crystal and macro bugle bead embroidered “Goa” minaudière.

FYI: Tina selected a black and silver look for the 2012 SAGs as well!

Tina Fey in L’Wren Scott | 2013 Golden Globes

WHO: Tina Fey
WHERE & WHEN: 70th Annual Golden Globe Awards, held at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills on January 13, 2013.
WEARING: L’Wren Scott dress, Salvatore Ferragamo shoes, Roger Vivier clutch & Fred Leighton jewelry.

MY VERDICT: Wowza Tina! The co-host of the evening hit the red carpet in this sexy custom tuxedo strapless cocktail dress by L’Wren Scott, which will probably go down as one of the best dresses she has ever worn. Obviously this was a fine time for that to happen.  I adore the flattering tea-length on her and the gorgeous black floral sparkling lace embroidery, which were complimented quite nicely by her Ferrgamo pair of black satin pumps with a hidden platform.  Tina’s brunette locks were styled in full waves as she finished her look with diamond drop earrings, an emerald green ring and a Roger Vivier “Pilgrim” clutch. | continue reading..

In less than 24hrs some of the biggest stars in television and film will walk the red carpet for the 70th Annual Golden Globes Awards in Hollywood, but what will they be wearing?  In comes The Fashion Court: Wish List, with a selection of pretty gowns that I could picture on several of the stars who will be attending. I obviously couldn’t ‘dress’ all of the nominees and presenters, or else this post would take you over an hour to read, but you’ll find eighteen of your favorites below.

Now, I know how these shows work; I imagine a good 50% of the stars will be in custom made dresses, especially some of the stars included in this list. That doesn’t mean I can’t have my fun, of course. ;-)

Tina Fey in Naeem Khan | Kennedy Center Honors 2012

Tina Fey shined on the red carpet last night at the 35th Kennedy Center Honors in her rose gold lace gown. The “30 Rock” star arrived at the annual gala, held at the Kennedy Center Hall of States Washington, DC, wearing a long-sleeve wrap Naeem Khan—straight from the designer’s Fall 2012 collection.

I love the fit on Tina—she looked amazing! With her long brunette locks styled in an elegant up ‘do with swept bangs, Tina lightly lined her eyes before finishing off her look with rosy lips and a embellished clutch.

I guess we can be thankful she didn’t wear chunky black shoes with this like the runway model.

What did you think of Tina’s golden style?

I had to do a double take when I saw Tina Fey on the red carpet last night for the 64th Primetime Emmy Awards. Seriously. That dress. FABULOUS.

The “30 Rock” star wore an absolutely stunning bespoke oxblood strapless corset gown by Vivienne Westwood, with a black-and-gold embroidered baroque inset at the bust. I honestly think this is the best I have ever seen Tina on the red carpet. | continue reading..

Tina Fey in Carolina Herrera | 2012 Oscars

Tina Fey finally got it right!

I wasn’t the biggest fan of her the way her gowns fit her earlier this awards season, but the “30 Rock” star got a perfect fit from her beautiful navy blue silk faille gown by Carolina Herrera last night at the 84th Annual Academy Awards.

The strapless design showed off her trim arms, but the feminine peplum hid any flawless at her waistline. The smooth column skirt prevented her body from looking truncated and the glorious train added some extra glam. | continue reading..

2012 SAG Awards: What’s Black and White and Red All Over

2012 Red Carpet: What's Black and White and Red All Over?L-R: Tina Fey; Heather Morris; Amber Riley; Glenn Close | Photos: Zimbio
The red carpet, I mean…

They say “you can’t go wrong with a little black dress”, but you can. You can also go really wrong with a long black dress. See who got it right and who got it wrong on the red carpet this past Sunday for the 18th Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards.

I like to think that Tina Fey read my post about her for the Golden Globes two weeks ago because she ixnayed another fluffy gown in favor of sleek and sexy Versace! I love the smooth black gown she wore with the draping metallic ombré bodice. With black peep toe sandals and a chic bouffant hairstyle with diamond and onyx drop earrings — she looked amazing. The “30 Rock” star also carried a sparkling glitter silver clutch. | continue reading..

With the stars grabbing the newest designs for spring — and even pre-fall of this year — it was nice to see Jane Krakowski in a resort look for the 2012 Screen Actors Guild Awards on Sunday.

The “30 Rock” star posed with her co-star Tina Fey on the red carpet at the Shrine Auditorium in one of my favorite gowns from the cruise collection by Antonio Berardi. | continue reading..

“30 Rock” star Tina Fey selected a fuchsia gown for her trip down the red carpet at the 2012 Golden Globe Awards this past weekend. She donned a tulle strapless embroidered gown from the Resort 2012 collection by Oscar de la Renta.

It was a pretty color, but she looked kind of short. I prefer seeing her in a much more sleek and long silhouette. When I saw the video of her arriving, it looked like she was having trouble moving in it. | continue reading..
