Vera Farmiga arrived on the blue carpet on Tuesday night at NYC’s Cipriani 42nd Street for UNICEF’s 8th Annual Snowflake Ball wearing a gown by Naeem Khan.

The “Higher Ground” actress enjoyed food, cocktails, and a performance while donned in a short sleeve embroidered top that was belted at the waist before a floor-length white skirt tiered with pleated ruffles.

It was a lovely look for her, and I’m glad she wore her hair up but loose. It added a low-maintenance vibe to an ensemble that seemed so effortlessly chic.

I would have preferred that she wore the matching short necklace from the runway, but her accessories were well-balanced with the dress. The double layered necklace picked up the topaz color of the embroidery as well as her metallic gold sandals. She finished things off with a maxi skirt-matching white clutch.

Angie Harmon was in attendance last night to help raise money for children’s rights with UNICEF during its annual Snowflake Ball held at Cipriani 42nd Street in NYC.

The actress practically glided down the blue carpet in a beaded silver and gold ombré haute couture halter gown featuring a plunging neckline and low open back from the “Feel the Water” collection by Jean Fares Couture.

I love the way this dress forms to her body; it’s like it was custom made just for her. This was by far my favorite look of the night. There was holiday glitz and red carpet glamour all rolled into one! | continue reading..

Zoe Kravitz enjoyed cocktails and watched a performance by Natasha Bedingfield last night at Cipriani 42nd Street during the 2011 UNICEF Snowflake Ball.

The 22-year-old actress (she turns 23 on Thursday!) donned a white and black gown from the Fall/Winter 2011 collection by Chanel for the evening. I’m not much of a fan of this on her as she desperately needed the belt seen on the catwalk. The shape of the sleeves and neckline matched her hair perfectly — they’re all awkward cuts.

She’s been seen in a lot of Alexander Wang lately, so naturally I thought she’d select one of his designs for this event. I genuinely love Zoe’s style and I want to be happy to see her change up in designer wear, but I can’t say I’m thrilled with her selection this time around.

With the holiday season upon us, it was time for the 2011 UNICEF Snowflake Ball to take place!

Sarah Jessica Parker arrived on the blue carpet at Cipriani 42nd Street to support the United Nations Children’s Fund for child rights last night wearing Louis Vuitton.

SJP practically looked like a snowflake herself in this ecru silk satin sleeveless top cropped over a floral cutout white full skirt embroidered with ostrich feathers in a matching white and seafoam green.

This was an interesting dress for her, but also a very hard one to pull off. Luckily white pumps finally perfected a look for her — unlike in the past. I’m actually glad she wore these LV pumps rather than the catwalk shoes; I think these were more suitable for her style.

I’m thankful that her hair wasn’t the focal point for once — although it was a bit frizzy.

SJP accessorized with stacked bangles and drop earrings.
